I wouldn't worry about not losing anything for a week as your body needs to adjust to a new regime, it may mean that you need to change your exercise routine or look at other areas of your diet to improve e.g. having a banana instead of chocolate for a sugar hit. I go through stages of losing a few lbs and then finding it really hard to shift even one pound but you have to keep it going and the results will pay off.
Sorry not meaning to be preachy in any way
QB - it must be hard to ignore the comments but you've already said that you are up to your eyeballs at the moment, finish what you need to do then you'll be stronger and have more time to concentrate on the rest of your life. Don't forget to have a break from writing even if it's a short walk around the block to get some fresh air :grouphug:0 -
Hi everyone,
Just a very short post from me as I'm still feeeling out of sorts and sorry for myself:o.
I lost 2 lb this week so am at least pleased with that.
For those of you that are trying for babies just so you can come off TPAs diet bandwagon...i'm watching you:eek:
Will be back for a big catch up when i'm feeling a bit better.

Bless TPA, I'll keep sending you dodgy hugs till you're feeling better :grouphug:. Well done on loss :T
As for trying for a baby - I'll stick to the diet if that's ok :eek:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Hello there,
Sorry you are feeling out of sorts, but well done on the 2lb loss. Hope you feel back to your normal self soon.
I'll be back on track myself after the weekend when my assignment's out of the way. Re the baby comment, I'd be delighted to have such an excuse! I'm probably a bit old now, but you never know though... stranger things have happened...

Hope you feel better soon TPA, take care.
My weight this week is 11 st 10 lb,it seems to be creeping up slowly,( but i'm sure it has nothing to do with the pizza I ate last night)

I'm still the same again today. I deserve much worse as i had a real food binge yesterday. I'm not even sure why, apart from being really tired and wanting something sweet to keep going and then before i thought again loads of bisuits and a bag of crisps disappeared.
I think my only saving grace was i ate very well on Wednesday, and also i have done 2 hours on the bike since last weekend.
If the weather cheers up again i might do a bit better next week as i will be outside gardening and the likes. I've no willpower when bored and tired.0 -
Weigh-in day for me - and I was very happy to see 2lbs gone :j:j:j:j:j:j
I'm so chuffed, because I've tried really, really hard this week and other than a minor mishap with some cheesecake on Monday night
, I've stuck to my daily calorie allowance religiously. I'm now 10st 2lbs - historically this is the point where my brain goes 'You don't deserve to be 9st something, start eating rubbish again' and I sabotage myself. I did manage 9st 13.5lbs for one week last summer, but other than that I've been 10 something or 11 something for the past 5 years, so if I can get into the 9s and stay there, I shall be incredibly proud of myself!
