    Hi everyone,

Well done to everyone who has managed to loose weight in the last couple of weeks.

I've not updated, cos last week my weight actually went up, rather than down... I'm terribly stressed out trying to finish my last assignment of the year, and trying to work all the hours I can, so I'm not making time to do any exercise and eating all the wrong things for comfort. Also, I've been taking medication that probably accounts for two of the three stones  I have to loose.

My mother dropped by for tea this afternoon and told me how tubby I've gotten - I know she meant well, but could have done without the chat at this particular time...

I know I am sounding like a winger, and I am sorry about that. I guess I sort of think it's important for me post my failure, rather than just drop by the wayside.

Weighed in, weighed in (that's what they say after a race at horseracing but I'm still the weight of 2 jockeys :rotfl:).

    3lbs off :)

    Total of 19.5lbs off :)

    28 to go

It's a deal :D Give me another 6-8 weeks for my new potatoes to be ready though - it's even better when made with freshly-dug spuds! (Actually, give me 12 weeks and you can have home-grown sausages as well!)

    :D
Hmmm, how do you grow pigs..in a pot or straight into the ground:D

Promise to update everyones details tomorrow, my brain is not thinking straight today.

    Well done everyone xx

Sorry couldn't just run and not post again after reading this.

QB you are doing well, admitting you have had a little 'blip', which is all it is, is a step in the right direction.
Bluggghhh to Mums, my DH mother always comments about his weight, I know she means well but it just sends him in the opposite direction. Would like to hear her say something about me:eek:

Big hugs (can I have some back, feel like I need them today?):o

  • Here's some hugs for you TPA (even though they look slightly dodgy) :grouphug:

Weigh in day and I've stayed the same. I'm fairly happy with that as it's still TOTM and I was away on holiday for a week last week. I'll also confess to eating ice cream and drinking a fair few beers in the hot weather. So maintaining is as good as a loss, as far as I'm concerned.

Oh, and Queen Bee - my mum's constantly commenting on my weight

Thanks TPA, and a hug back for giving me one when it was needed (can't seem to find the thingy for what people call a 'dodgy hug').

My Mum rang again today, when I was deeply embedded in study, telling me it was time I went for a walk and got some exercise. I'd specifically asked her yesterday not to give me any more gyp about my weight until I'd finished my last bit of work and was less stressed. But did she listen???

OH was a bit more supportive. When I called him last night, he simply said well you can loose it, so the problem is only temporary, and we can think more about how you're going to do it after the weekend.

Been bucketing down here today. Great incentive to work!!!

Another 1lb off for me this week. :j:j I'm really happy with that. I'm also studying to queen bee and it's so hard to diet when your doing it. I need the sugar fix just to keep my brain going. I think the only reason I have lost is becaus i've been to the gym 3 times in the last week. I normally only make it once, so that must have made the difference.

Exams are thurs/ fri this week and a night out planned for fri, so that will involve alcohol. After that is done I will start being strict with te food as well. Hopefully that way will lose the weight quickly. Well I can dream:D

Big fat 0 for me (again) so I managed to lose nothing since starting this

Have fallen so far off the crisp wagon that I'm currently living in Oz :rotfl:

Head seems to not be in the right place, I keep making excuses

This weeks excuse will be 1st England game = beer

Well done to everyone that is losing weight though - keep it up

Once when I visited my mum , she told me as soon as I walked through their front door, that I was fat, spotty and greasy haired. My dad bless him wished me Happy Birthday
