Looks good and as usual the whiners are out in force :rotfl:

It is clean and fresh plus I like the go to first unread post option which I missed on the previous version.

Speed was cr*P at first but seems to have improved a lot now

    Thanks
    Dave

Aesthetically is a nice change, will take some getting used to though.
  • Been using it since 7/5/10 (using the cookie) and I still love it as I did then. Even more so... As I said then ~ Very modern, very swish and much more suitable.

  • Hi folks,

Thanks for all the feedback so far. We think a major part of the slowness issue this morning was the fact that everyone had to download a whole new set of images for the new Forum look. This is, unfortunately, an unavoidable load on the servers which we are expecting to happen again tonight (when the after-work crowd gather) and also on Wednesday (Tip day), when site traffic is at it's highest.

We're hoping it should be smooth sailing after that point but we'll be continually monitoring the Forum and tweaking as we go in an effort to optimise performance.

Please keep the feedback and bug reports coming in.

Page 8 of this thread is also stretched out not fitting the screen. I guess your WebMasters are still tweaking.;)

Nope, caused by post #155 and #159 and the pic atached to them, there still is not a solution to that problem yet, and cant see there is one that would not put extra presure on the servers and slow everything down, even if the theory worked
