Ordered lunchtime thursday - didn't have time to sit on voucher and wait which would prob have been the better option - then discovered all of the problems. Sent e mail to head them off at the pass (making sure I demanded the price as on weds). Higher amount already charged to card before my e mail, so looks like I'm in refund territory after delivery. 4 days after payment still no delivery advice. Remaining patient for now.

A quick update on my order:

No shipping confirmation received, so had a quick online chat with one of their people. Confirmed they were sent out yesterday and should be delivered today. Ive got quite a sensitive spam filter on the email address i ordered from so will explain why I never got a shipping email. Got hte UPS number via online chat and confirmed that they are on the van and scheduled for delivery any time today

I checked the site & of the designer watches, there was only one watch listed at £49 & they had 5+ left, so i bought the deal.
At 2 mins past midnight when the offer ended, the watch doubled in price to £99.

...I think someone is leading deal buyers astray here...!!!

I was lucky enough to take a screenshot of the watch listed in the checkout for £49

There were a number of Krug Baumen watches that were also listed at £59. Funnily enough, they are ALL now listed at £99.

Either MyCityDeal & watchesshop .com are in cahoots to diddle us or MyCityDeal are being taken for a ride (again) as i have notice this same thing has happened, time & time again in these forums

Hi guys,

Would just like to say that my glasses arrived the next day. I inadvertently mucked things up by ordering through Google Checkout, so my £50 was not deducted. I contacted SGS who then corrected it on the same day.

I'm extremely impressed by MCD and SGS and many thanks to MSE to alerting me to this top deal!

I had literally snapped my Oakleys only last weekend in a small bike crash - so it was perfect timing!

has anyone had any joy getting a refund on the voucher, I have just been told after I contacted the suglsses shop thet they emailed me on the 23rd to say the glasses that were instock and payed for on the day are now discontinued and that i can have a pair of overpriced alternatives or a refund on money spent with them. I have now got to get in to contact with mycity to try to get my money payed for the voucher back.:mad:

I don't know if anybody else has had this problem but I've notice that the discount hasn't been deducted even though I followed the instructions on the email. Please check as I imagined it would be automatic!! I have emailed the company but as yet have had no reply.

you can get a refund by emailing my city deals, as i looked at it yesterday.
im thinking of asking for a refund too.
ordered last thursday at lunchtime, still heard nothing 5 days later!
just spoke via online chat, they have my order but not processed it yet. others who ordered at the same time as me have had dispatch emails and even a delivery.
i would have thought my order was in the first percentage of those that were dispatched due to the time i ordered.
i know theyre busy etc, theyre probably out of stock and just not telling me.
if i get no dispatch email tomorrow i will cancel the order and get a refund, also a refund from mcd.
i can get the same shades for a few pounds more with guaranteed next day delivery, i probably should have done this in the first place?

I ordered a pair on Thursday at 4.20pm and another pair on Friday at 10.45am. I've had the dispatch for the Friday pair but nothing about the first pair I ordered so they're clearly not processing them in order.

I just asked on online chat and they said the same (have the order but not processed) then hung up before I could say anything back!
