On the Desire the proximity sensor tells when you pull the phone away from your face, then I just swipe the dial pad up from the bottom and it has all the keys for pressing * or dialling numbers etc whilst on a call.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

It will go auto onto one you've set up to remember, but it will only notify you of an open network, rather than auto-connecting to anything open which theoretically could be dangerous.0 -
You can also download an app called WeFi which automatically connects you to any free WiFi spot and not just your WiFibubblesmoney :hello:0

Can anyone help? Got my desire from 3 on mon. Just HTC branded. Came with broken white sticker on bottom. Phone looked new and unused. However in the phone info it gives the phone number as a a different tel no to mine (phone is an upgrade). Should I be worried?
Also can anyone tell me why phone doesn't change to landscape? Landscape setting is enabled. It does change on few apps have for my daughter but not when using internet.
Thanks for info re. swype...i'm not managing very well with the current keyboard and am now really slow typing anything out.0 -
