Anything bad about Htc desire

Yes. And theres no guarantee they will engineer it. They may just leave it at 2.1.
HTC have confirmed that the Desire will get FroYo during H2 2010.There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

Excellent news.
They've just released 2.1 on the US Hero so hopefully UK Hero owners should get that soon too.
I have to say the Desire is far and away the best phone I've ever used. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
Can someone tell me what H2 is please?0

You get a free sheepskin coat with it, but hurry as that offer will transfer to the iPhone 4 once it is releasedApproach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! For Caroline my Goddess.0

Damn, I didn't get a coat with mine. Still, can't complain though, it was cheaper than a second-hand iPhone 3GS.There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.

Best phone available right now!
I seriously considered an iphone but it was just too expensive. And, after using the desire for a while now im so happy i chose it.
If you are thinking of buying one, stop thinking and buy it! :beer:0 -
Thats true of everything and anything on forums. Take the current Vodafone debate over the unlimited internet farce.
Scanning the net gives you the impression that the whole world is out to get Vodafone. In reality about less then 0.0004% of its customers are moaning about the change in Vodafones T&C's.
Hence why Vodafone can put there hands over their ears and sing 'la la I cant hear you'. Because it's not going to effect them one tiny little bit.
Hmmm, I am one of those 0.0004% of Vodamoan customers currently fighting the introduction of new charges to unlimited internet accounts, VF have completely lost any credibilty with a lot of people over the way they have handled this and I can assure you that although it is a small percentage of people that are wailing and wringing their hands over this right now (a lot more than your 0.0004%) the only reason is that VF have not notified its customers of the change.
So a proviso to my earlier recommendation of a Desire, get one but if you actually want to be able to use it in a way that it was intended it should be used DONT go with vodafone.

No major problems with mine, I prefer the user experience on the 3GS, but I'm not a power user, but definitely nothing wrong with either phone imo.0

I'm in agreement with you. My personal experiences of Vodafone have been extremely poor.
It was suggested the only reason I'm reading about HTC Desire issues is because people post up the negative aspects of company's on consumer forums. I used the Vodafone thread as a counter example.
I was trying to find out what the difference was between comments on the Internet regarding Vodafones web charges and the HTC Desire reception faults. Surely the comments made by the poster concerned would apply to both ? I've read reports about the Desires reception problems on many forums including the Android forum. At the same time I know many Vodafone customers who feel Vodafone are acting within their T&C's.
So why is it ok to believe the Vodafone thread but dismiss the HTC Desire thread ?0
