For the £10 a month, both give you 30 day rolling contracts, sim free with 500 minutes and unlimited texts. However, Tesco also throw in data (500Mb) which UW don't. Same with the £15 a month. UW wins on the £20 one if you don't use data, as they do unlimited calls whereas Tesco only does 750 minutes. However, again Tesco does data whereas UW doesn't.
Fair summimg up, I reckon. However, we will definitely be going for the £10/mth sim deal on account of us not actually needing data and also the fact it contributes to the free global calls deal for existing customers. Along with our broadcall (line rental and broadband, counts as 2 services) we would then have 3 services and qualify for free unlimited 01,02, 03, 0870 and 10 top international destinations (2 of the countries we have friends/family in) evenings and weekends. Add in 500 mins cross netwok minutes and unlimited texts and all this package would cost £32.49. Less any discounts from the amazing cash back card. By comparison, I believe the comparable BT line rental/40gb bb package without the 500 mobile mins and u/l texts would cost £30/mth*. With an 18 month min. contract length.
* Actually, only free weekend calls on this package but they do include 0845 whereas UW now don't.0 -

Asda's unlimited actually means 2000 mins and 2000 texts, Tesco is 3000 mins and 3000 texts.0

I paid huge amounts of money
I was a bit slow to follow my own advice.
bills were coming to around £500 per month and more!
I then looked around to see what was a better option and decided 3 months later to switch the gas and electrics from UW.
By April the bill was now almost £4000!
Contacted Energywatch, they emailed and said they could do nothing until I had spoken to Utility Warehouse which I did but they were incredibly rude again even refusing to send out copy statements.
the bill was now a staggering £7500!
I don't want any UW reps hidden or otherwise telling me how unfortunate I must have been or how unlucky
Who are you trying to blame for you not rapidly taking your own advice?
I've got two mobiles, two landlines (one of them with broadband), electricity and gas with Utility Warehouse. My November 2010 bill was £87 after they took off the £28.78 for my pre payment card spending. Do you own a 365 room mansion and phone premium rate lines every day? Utility Warehouse may not have the cheapest electricity and gas prices but they are usually reasonable for people without internet access.
It took you three months to make a decision?
Weren't you making any payments at all? What were you paying before you became a customer?
You're bills are available on line and you can print them out. Or didn't you check what facilities are available before you signed up?
I'll ask the question again, have you made payments at all?
Sympathy for somebody who appears to have done no due diligence before entering contracts with a company and complains when things allegedly go wrong? Not a lot.
I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

Is their still a £10 admin fee if you want to change tariffs?
Do they still charge you £20 if you want to port your number away?
Do they still insist your a home owner if you want to sign up?0 -

Call it intuition, but I get the feeling in my bones you're not exactly keen on UW, BT.

:eek::eek:
Ps Twitters, on further research the Tesco sim only deals you are quoting in your earlier post are actually one-off special offers for a limited period and could be withdrawn at any time. For instance, the 'normal' tesco £10/mth sim only deal gives you just 250 mins, u/l texts but only data for the first 3 months - after that you have to buy it separately. At the moment they are definitely the better deal but for how long?0 -

Hello, can someone please tell me when UW are hiking their prices, please.
Do they still have the same pricing policy, the cheapest of the big six suppliers or have they changed?0 -
You have been mislead over this, this is not their policy/custom at all - check their prices on any comparison site and see!
Though they have been known to attempt to mislead over their prices! (eg By use of their worthless price guarantee)0 -

UW have just about the most expensive gas and electricity prices in UK.
All of the Big 6 have tariffs that are hundreds of pounds cheaper for customers with average consumption.0
