8.7% increase on the gas for UW

No wonder the salesmen have gone quiet, strange how they have put their prices up but Npower havent...

Also came into effect from 1st December so they nicely backdated it for everyone...
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)
  • This may present you with the opportunity to have another stab at what you tried in post 563......... with hopefully more convincing results, Plushchris. ;)

    HI,
Just had a letter from uw, its 8.5 % increase and they are not putting up gas till at least 1 feb. And they as far as i know are absorbing the vat rise. who is raising there prices the most on standerd tarriffs only saying standered tarriffs as it easy to work out that way.

What VAT rise? Must be another marketing ploy by uw for the benefit of their gullibles to tell them this, as VAT on gas (and electricity) isn't going up at all.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Maybe UW are referring to their telecommunications products in relation to VAT rises.

    No VAT increase on energy.

Got any prove yet? Or still an unfounded accusation?
