There's also lots of misinformation, an example being your post last night that got thoroughly (& embarrassingly easily) dismantled.

    ;)

I freely admit I didnt go into reading the Ts & Cs of a comparison that has nothing to do with me...

I do however think the scenario given was a bit silly, anyone with the usage shown with any sense would sign up to Ovo not UW, but no, there was the "no contract" clause, god only knows why...

Why wouldnt someone want to fix their prices before a price rise? Even if prices were to drop in that 12 months "she" could pay the cancelation fee and still be better off than "she" would be by being with UW..

That wouldnt fit in with a UW ID's example though would it.. ;)

  • Where do they say that then Nige ?

    The OP clearly says

All Telecom Plus Distributors must declare it when they post

Nothing about depending on number of posts.

    Hi Bills

We have been here before and asked the question when our signatures were removed that included the declaration. The response was.....
We're happy for people to mention they're utility warehouse reps in a thread (although obviously just once or twice - not every post) but we can't allow it to be mentioned in signatures.

    Kind regards

    Best Regards

Gosh its getting very pedantic on here, board guides, moderator's who cares what they are called! Now back to discussing UW prices only, Cardew doesn't like anything else being mentioned (unless its a post by him!! :D)

Talking of UW news, has it been mentioned that another UK leading retailer BHS have joined the UW cashcard from 1st December and are offering 5% discount in-store and on-line.

Two or three years ago when certain people were continuously bleating on about it, I asked TPTB. The reply was as I described along with the words "common sense." It makes sense to me that any new members showing up should be able to see who is associated with Utility Warehouse on any individual page of the thread. Sometimes it will be every couple of hours (or even less) and during slack times it may be a day. The rules also say that people associated with other companies should declare their interest too but I have not noticed others trying to correct them.

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company.

  • And Quentin, who deleted those two posts if it wasn't a moderator? (or guide as they are called here).

Why was my thread cancelled? His remarks should have been removed, i was un aware there was a thread specifically for UW. I understand spammers should be removed, but i wanted quick answers.

On past performance (I'm thinking of my recent questions regarding phone/broadband, cash back etc) it's not as if you will actually answer anything specifically so why should PeterL bother? I just hope you don't try and blame MSE for your total failure this time. ;) To be fair to Plushchris the other night, at least he had a go at being specific (and unfortuantely failed rather spectacularly). Rather that than to chicken out like you all the time.

At least I can admit to my mistakes as opposed to getting banned because of them or just signing up with a new user name.

Still different strokes for different blokes ;)

  • Hi everyone

Someone's asked for more clarification on UW reps stating they're a rep in their posts. There's no need to declare it too often, we realise it's a fine line but it's not appropriate to keep mentioning it as it would be too close to advertising. Thanks!
