The only thing that I've learnt reading this thread is that Utility Warehouse seem to bring out the most emotional responses in people!

It does look like from what I've read that the only ones sticking up for UW and supporting them being a good firm are those who are distributors so stand the most to gain from them. Someone tried to persuade me to join them but unless I top up £400 a month on some cashback card (I don't spend £200 a month on food let alone £400) and buy loads of other things, I'd end up paying more than I do now on pretty much everything!

I think with it being that expensive it's no wonder only the distributors are the ones defending it!

That indeed is the bottom line(with one or two exceptions - janninew for example)

As long as any new reader of this forum is aware just how much more expensive gas and electricity is from UW, they have no need to read the rest of the thread.

The contant personal attacks on Quentin are just to divert attention from UW's high prices and modus operandi.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING WITH ANY OF THE REPLYS I GET ABOUT WHO IS CHEAPEST ETC DO YOU GET FREE INSURANCE, VOUCHERS, I UNDERSTAND MOST UTILITY COMPANYS ARE PUTTING THERE PRICES UP SO IS ANYTHING ON THIS FORUM CORRECT AS PRICES CHANGE A FEW TIME A YEAR WHAT HAPPENS IF IM WITH A SUPPLIER NOW AND THEY SAY SIGN A 12 MONTH CONTRACT AND YOUR PRICES STAY THE SAME FOR TWELVE MONTHS THEN SIX MONTHS INTO IT THEY PUT THERE PRICES DOWN AGAIN OR OFFER A NEW TARRIF TO NEW CUSTOMERS ONLY THAT ARE CHEAPER THEN THE ONE YOU ARE ON. GO UP HOW DO I GET OUT OF THESE CONTRACTS OVERRALL WHO IS BEST VALUE FOR MONEY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WHO OFFERS YOU FURTHER DISCOUNTS AT OTHER RETAILERS ETC WHO HERE GOES SHOPPING AND BUYS THE CHEAPEST BRAND NAME FOOD IN SUPERMARKETS IF NOT WHY NOT. THIS IS A MONEY SAVING WEBSITE WELL I THOUGHT. PS I WORK FOR THE COBRA GROUP SO IM NOT AN AGENT FOR ANY ENRGY COMPANY.

What constant personal attacks? I find his behaviour and following others from this web-site (and posting comments from other sites) very strange. It is very similar to stalking and if it were me he were doing it to, I would be very uncomfortable.

Keggs should feel uncomfortable about his persona here! And the uw and his uw rep colleagues should feel uncomfortable about the way he is behaving.

He comes here telling us how happy he is with the uw, constantly supporting any of his colleagues, thanking all who post favourable comments about the uw etc etc, when he is elsewhere scathing about uw, its high prices and its management.

Both personas cannot be true. He is being dishonest, and in view of his previous scathing comments about MSE it's reasonable to see his persona here as the false one!

When Quentin posts anything about UW, it is Quentin that is attacked and the points he makes about UW are largely ignored.

Look at the last posts by yourself, blunty, uptomyeyeballs, Keggs and Andy1047, they are all personal about Quentin and nothing about UW.

I can understand you not liking his dogmatic style, but he makes lots of valid points about UW - why not answer those points?

Oi Cardew, i'll ask you again mate - how does someone who pays 3 times as much for his domestic energy as me think he can lecture me on saving money?

Are you with UW? If so, can you tell me how I could have saved money going with them because when I did my checks, I'd have ended up £350 worse off than I am now going with EDF. To get the cheaper phone line rental, I'd be £200 worse off.

Maybe that's how UW make so much in profits, they overcharge by so much!

I have never attacked Quentin on here, I will question his stalking of others though, I find it odd - don't you? I have been attacked myself on here, being called a racist and a silly women at the last count, I would never insult anybody if they disagreed with me.

What points would you like me to answer that he has raised?
