Fact is, the amount I pay Utility Warehouse for the package I've outlined is approx £9/mth. I don't pay them £28/mth beacuse as a consequence of me using their cash back card they credit me with between £18 and £20.

It isn't a fact that your "package" only costs you £9!

You are using your "earnings" from being a busy fool and (as already posted) spending £400+ to get a discount!

Were you to take the moneysavers route, you could get the same discount as cash (more in fact as you could have been paying only £95 for a £100 shop at asda) and keep it for yourself! Then buy your phone line etc from the best/cheapest supplier.

Explain the concept of me paying £95 for a £100 shop at Asda. I'm assuming this isn't by card? And, just so you can't slither and slide as previously, I'll be entirely clear here: what are the actual mechanics of this? And have you personally done this?

Like I said BEFORE lol, if I'm spending this amount of money at these shops already, what's the problem with getting 5% of that spend back on any bill, utility warehouse or otherwise?

    PS Busy fool? Me? LOL.

PPS About my phone/broadband questions. Remember? Coveniently forgotten?

Hey, I was banned off this thread for using a URL which I removed when pointed out. Now you have gone against your own policing of the thread! Seems like two sets of rules here. If I pointed someone to the like of the UW cashback card you would be all over me...woulnd't you? Doesn't matter if you have a vested interest or not; rules are rules...

You were promoting your own personal website which is against site rules. If you post a link to the UW site proper thats normally acceptable by MSE.

Have you forgotten that you must declare your a UW Distributor.;)

I was not recommending the babee card, just bringing it to a posters attention.
IIRC I said do your own research.

And i was only trying help that poster i dont have any interest in the babee card.:D
  • One other advantage not often mentioned is that you can purchase a large variety of "gift" cards from Sainsburys which also attract the UW card discount / cashback / credit. (Delete as appropriate).

In which case dare i mention it you could use the discounted sainsburys gift cards from babee card to buy them also.

So what cash back card do you use and, probably more importantly, would you recommend it? From what i've seen you appear to be a BT customer (correct?) and I believe they have a cash back card so do you use that and, if so, is it any good?
  • I have a gift I didn't previously know I possessed until today; I can get a poster's 'online forum activity light' to go from bright green to bright red just by asking them a simple, normally supplementary question. It's extraordinary. :D

What an unbelievable waste of time this thread is.
I'm guessing, as it was well on the way to 11pm that the poster MAY have gone to bed and there's a strong chance they didn't actually see your post.

Now.. off to find in the settings how to stop getting alerts for this playground nonsense...

At least you got an answer, how long have I been waiting for answers to my questions regarding the babee card from you. In fact, I'm STILL waiting, lol. Then, when you boasted you could get me a better deal if I was to provide full info, after I provided it all you came up with was 2 links to info on phone line rental and broadband. I feel you have promised lots and delivered little (I'm being generous here).

Welcome back Carmine :D I've missed you.

You've certainly fooled a few regular posters including, ironically, Mike by the Sea.

Ps. It was the 'lol' which gave you away :T
