Nobody would come on this thread with different personalities to slate UW, would they?!

    See what keggs does!

He comes here to promote uw and continually tell us how happy he is with uw, yet really slates UW, its prices, management, policies etc elsewhere.

Dual personality or what is his motive do you think?

Very happy thanks. Its all well and good accusing somebody, but you do have to back it up!

Let me ask you a question.

Do you think that Carespress, 1carminestocky, operastar and MillicentBystander are four different people?

I don't have any reason to think they are the same person, I have no idea why carmine stopped posting, he wasn't PPR'd, why would he stop posting under the name carmine and take on another identity? This normally happens (on other threads) if the poster has been banned. The way it stands on here, anybody who posts is accused of being somebody else, its the strangest thread I've been on on MSE!

It also has some rather strange people contributing Janinenew. Some people can't help themselves trying to bait others. I have right to express whatever view I have if I want to. But it seems to me that if anyone says anything positive about UW then they obviously must have an ulterior motive. Similarly if someone who IS A HAPPY customer but has some reservation about the current state of the company that is seen as somehow contradictory. sO THE PERSON MUST BY INFERENCE BE A liar.

Ridiculous nonsense. I haven't changed my mind about UW either as a customer or as a distributor. I have particular issues as an ID not as a customer. People shouldn't read any more into that than is the case. But people like Quentin with his or her obvious almost psychotic hatred of UW are so skewed in their views it is little wonder anyone really takes any notice of the individual.

BTW Q before attacking me over the use of psychotic I am a graduate psychologists so have used that word deliberately. It is an apt description.

Why don't you ask him - even by PM.

Leaving aside where we stand on things UW, do you honestly think I am wrong?

    This is a strange response.

Others can decide whether or not you speak with forked tongue when you come here so "happy"!

Here are just some of your recent disenchanted posts elsewhere, where it would seem the scales had fallen from your eyes:

I've stopped completely both customer gathering and ID recruiting now, not because I don't think T+ works but because I no longer believe it offers people the great benefits it once did

Your colleague uw reps have implored you to keep your counsel, and refrain from posting here at all.

Your response to this was to tell them you will only come here to make use of the MSE pm system for recruiting (even though you know using the MSE pm system for this sort of thing breaks the rules) - (though you haven't even kept to that resolve, and just continued telling us how happy you are!)

someone did contact me privately because he was a customer and wanted to become an ID. Unfortunately, when he contacted me I hadn't been on that site for over a week. So I login from time to time to check for this really.

Your two distinctly different personas don't add up!

Hopefully anyone now considering pm'ing you to become a customer/rep will see this.

I don't have 2 personas Quentin. As usual you just write rubbish. Just because I happen to have a few issues which hopefullu are or will be addressed doesn't make me unhappy. Just because the company do things I don't like from time to time doesn't means I have changed my mind about the overall benefits it offers me either as a customer or as a distributor.

Get real Quentin. I am still a customer and will remain so. I have no reason to switch. It wouldn't benefit me. Nor have I any intention of resigning as an ID. The Utility Warehouse (unlike you it seems) is NOT the focus of my attention all the time. I do have other things I do. UW is just one of them.

As for people pming me that's up to them. I will answer them as honestly as I can. People make their own choices. I NEVER INFLUENCE OTHER PEOPLE ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.

And just to be ABSOLUTELY CLEAR in case you still haven't got the message. Despite any issues I may or may not have with the Utilty Warehouse I AM STILL A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER AND NO AMOUNT OF DENIGRATION OF ME OR THE COMPANY WILL FORCE ME TO CHNAGE MY MIND.

Is that clear enough for you and any of the rest of the shower of anti UW idiots that come to this forum with your high and mighty know it all attitude.

By the way Quentin. Did you ever apologise to Nigewick? No, I didn't think you had. What about the so-called card that gives better discount and is the best thing since sliced bread....No...Ah well. Keep trying Quentin. One day people might even respect what you say one day.

  • Hello all :)

I see it's all "kicked off" again, for want of a better term!

Thanks ypaymore for all the baybee card info, having looked into it it seems as though it cant be used "at the till" in same same way as the UW cashback card at M&S, but it does sound like a good card for other retailers!

It looks like 2 out of the 3 examples I quoted as people who UW are GOOD for stand up for being just that, so I think my (to my mind) reasonable claim that UW isn't for most people, but is the best deal for a few individual circumstances, is pretty much indisputable.

So I think the moral of this thread is that most UW reps really do need to stop selling it to people when they can clearly get a better deal elsewhere, but the "anti-UW" brigade should recognise that for a few select individuals it IS the best deal for them? :)
  • Hi, I have been watching this thread and another similar with interest. My position as a UW customer for 18 months is that the prices have always been competitive and if I had a problem it was sorted quickly. The problem I had was high bills which turned out to be my fault as I had not sent in my readings so they were estimated.

After reading these threads and careful consideration I have decided to become an ID. I really do not understand the anger against this company as when I look through the threads there is far more to be angry about.

I actually thought that Meeper explained how it all works extremely well but that was ten pages ago and here we are on page 27 still debating the same thing.

Reading through this thread has been trying and almost depressing, but I had to see what people were saying about UW. Some people really need to look at themselves and think "why am I constantly posting angry messages about a company I have nothing to with".

Now where is that pity button?

Just thought I'd stop in as I check back from time to time. Still going, I see. Such a shame.

It was amusing to see this Carmine thing crop up again in the last 2 pages - I believe someone accused me of being Carmine also when I started posting. Conspiracy theorists of the world, unite!

Appreciate the mention from the previous poster, I thought I explained it quite well also, but as usual the haters did their best to prove me wrong. They should simply go back to their regular jobs of being salespeople for British Gas, BT, E.On and the other companies that they work for and stop handing out "advice" on here. We have seen in the last couple of pages what happens when they are actually asked for advice. They clam up, run away and make personal attacks instead. I like to keep up with this thread because all of the haters are actually doing UW a massive favour by illustrating the pathetic lengths that the haters out there are prepared to go to. I think I am still awaiting responses to some questions I posed about 12 pages ago!

    Fun times.
