Thanks for the link
Doesnt seem to be an in-store card as such; "Once inside the Club, you can either purchase supermarket and high street discounted vouchers and gift cards or shop directly using your BaBeeCard on our discount partners' website. Note: remember to use the discount code supplied to you when using your BaBeeCard on our partners websites."
Not quite the same as just paying at the till and getting cashback, and there's no M&S i'm afraid so my example (yet real) person still seems to stand up as being best at UW than elsewhere.
Great info though, there's a Waitrose near my parents place so i'll be sure to mention this to people in that area0 -
I guess you have to be a mum to qualify, you will have to do your own research.
Thats not a requirement !
"Who can order a BaBeeCard?
Anyone over 18 can order a card. You dont have to be a Mummy to have a BaBeeCard! Daddies, Grannies and Uncles can have one too! Because we DO NOT credit check anyone, passing the Identity Verification enables anyone to have a card."

Have to say I've been watching this thread with interest but what confuses me is why there isn't a similar thread on the phone/broadband section? The reason I ask is for people who shop at certain stores their phone/broadband products seem like amazing value! I was introduced to their broadcall by my neighbour who has the same package (and broadly similar shopping habits). All she did was show me her previous month's bill, which came to £7-odd. That was for broadband, phone line rental and calls! So we signed up. Very happy with the service (was with BT before and they were perfectly fine but as I've now realised very expensive!). Our bills average out at approx £9/mth after cash back. I really don't feel there's anything out there that can compete with that but if there is I'm all ears, lol.
We tried the switching sites to see what they were like for gas and electric and there are most definitely cheaper deals out there for us at the moment. However, as we are both retiring next Summer and both our kids are due to move out to their own places in the next few months, we plan to downsize to a much smaller place so we will have another look then and see how the land lies (strangely, their tariff does tend to be better for low users, especially if you factor in the inclusive calls they give you).
Not interested in arguing, btw, just thought I'd add my experiences as a customer...0 -

When you post this type of "recommendation" then ask us for help it's no wonder posts like this from satisfied customers of uw who just joined MSe are treated with great suspicion.
You tell us you would like to hear if there is any competitive deals, but you don't want to hear those at all!
If you really did, you would tell us how much uw are charging you, and what you were getting for it.
But just telling us your payment each month is £9 "after cash back" means nothing at all, though at first glance would sound cheap to someone being told this by their friend/relative who they weren't expecting to take advantage of them!0 -

Hey, I was banned off this thread for using a URL which I removed when pointed out. Now you have gone against your own policing of the thread! Seems like two sets of rules here. If I pointed someone to the like of the UW cashback card you would be all over me...woulnd't you? Doesn't matter if you have a vested interest or not; rules are rules...UW Distributor :j0 -
Hey, I was banned off this thread for using a URL ...
Maybe the ban you got was for multiple rule breaking (eg was the URL you posted really a spam one to your own company?)
You were recently exposed as a UW rep after you posted in this thread but didn't declare this.
Now you do it again! More rule breaking!
(If you were banned how you got back again?)0 -

There seems to be a lot of links to the babee card here from ppl who may or may not have a vested interest, or may or may not be customers of there's. But that seems fine. fair enough. As someone who likes to get the best value for everything I use, I have of course now looked at the card but I now have more questions than answers so hope you can, as a recomendee of the card, provide some info:
1. Can you use the card to pay for my shopping in, say, M&s and sainsburys and accrue cashback?
2. What is exactly showing in the 'discount store' that only members can see?
a. And how does it work? Like Quidco/Topcashback where you use an affiliate link?
3. What's this about buying shopping vouchers at a discount, how does it work?
Like I said before, not in any way looking for confrontation but only help from people who obviously have experiences of products I haven't had. Isn't that what this site is all about or have I missed something?

You originally posted this when talking about your deal with UW:I really don't feel there's anything out there that can compete with that but if there is I'm all ears, lol.
Yet when asked to give us the proper details of your deal in order to help you with, you stonewall by telling us you don't want an "argument", and just wanted to tell us about your satisfaction!
So, do you really want help?0
