I've always had excellent customer service with UW, much better than the other 'big 3' that I've had experience with (BG, EDF, Npower) The phone has always been answered very quickly and the person on the other end have always been very helpfull.:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

My experience is quite the opposite!
I lived in an apartment and my Landldy changed our supplier over to the UW. She sold it to me on the basis that the more we had from them the cheaper it was. Ok, if it wasn't for the fact that we didn't use them for internet, phone etc, nor did I want to.
All became clear one day when she sent me a link trying to convince me to change our phone and broadband over, when I opened the link it asked for an admin username and password!
Turns out she was a rep for UW! When we tried to leave the apartment, we got taken to the cleaners over what we owed.
I would rather go without electricity all together than trust these crooks with my supply.0 -

This tends to mean it does well on feedback charts, as customers have a vested interest, and many of them are evangelical about the firm – and sometimes over claim. That in itself doesn’t make the product bad, but in our view it is no better or worse than any other energy provider.0 -
You now seem to want to change your plea??
You certainly came here today under the guise of Andy1047, never declared you were a uw rep and were exposed.
(All credit for your exposure should go to Detective Insp Ypaymore)
I am here under Andy1047 as I had to change from another username (because one of you banned me thus losing all my posts showing I am a distribtor - very clever of someone!). The other username had the post where I declared who I am. This is getting boring. And, your blinkered approach has meant you didn't answer my only question to you, "Are you or have you ever been with UW". I think we all know the answer ever though you such opinion of them!UW Distributor :j0 -

Exactly the point.
You used your maiden post in this old account of yours to post in support of uw, didn't say you were a rep, but were quickly exposed.
(And avoided admitting it till you had no choice!)
And if you were banned, then why have you come back at all?
Using an alterego to get round a ban seems to be another rule you have broken.
One of your colleagues embarassed by the way you have again brought uw into disrepute will probably report you for this in the hope of getting all your posts today removed!0 -

Quentin - All this has been answered. You have become very boring. Sorry but you have shown ....... no can't even be botherd to replay to you. And, I am sure you will find something negative to write about that too!UW Distributor :j0 -
MSE Martin warns about these type of comments:
Warns about what type of comments? I'm a customer who has been with UW for over 7 years, i have my telephone line and cashback card with, I use to have my gas and electricity with them, and I feel I have more than enough experience with the company to make a fair and valid point. I speak as a satisfied customer and nothing else.:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

No you could have posted under Andy1047 in the the first place but you choose to set up another user name and clearly got out of your depth when some of the stuff you posted was challenged on accuracy.
In fairness i do recall you declared you were a distributor in your first post under the other user name, but you attempted to spam this site with your UW domain which you removed after i ponted out that it was against site rules. Do UW still take a dim view of spammers?
Only abuse can ban you not an individual poster. Someone probaly reported you for advertising your uw site before you removed it.
Knowing full well you should declare an interest you then come here and make posts under andy1047 without doing so,and still continue to do so.So you havent got a leg to stand on .
See the original post in this thread.
Where MSE says- All Telecom Plus Distributors must declare it when they post
- All workers or those related to other utility companies must declare it
- There are to be no abusive comments, accusations of fraud.
- Anyone breaking the above rules will be barred first of all from this board, and if they persist, from the Forums as a whole.

Opinions on the overall level of Customer Service provided can only be subjective. I suspect that the vast majority of customers with all Utility companies are perfectly happy with the service they receive; indeed you have been consistent in expressing your satisfaction with UW's service - if not their prices!!
However it is perfectly possible to be totally objective about UW gas and electricity prices, and they are well proven to be just about the highest in UK; and of course the reason why you changed from UW.
However the point of the latest flurry of posts was Andy1047 as a UW salesman, coming back onto this thread and posing as just a satisfied customer.0
