Never mind Cardew, HappyMJ has made my point for me perfectly adequately. You keep trying to convince yourself that you're right, everyone else can see the truth now.

    Have a nice day!

For the same usage, why do you quote UW high for one and UW standard for the other?
Because it is cheaper. Mixing and matching tariffs makes it cheaper. The comparison websites don't do that you will need to do it manually or use the UW website to get the correct tariffs to use.

Which would be a saving on their current expenditure in this case, do you agree?
Well not really...their current expenditure is £1,266 and now they have to spend £1,566 with the one supplier. They will probably be with BT with home phone and broadband so it is possible to save.

So you want to go through all of that stuff, have 5 different providers, 5 different bills every month, (It's not 5 bills it's only 2 First:utility is one bill, Tesco Broadband and home phone is one bill and the phone deal is PAYG it's not a bill.) variable customer service, upheaval and hassle of dealing with multiple companies all to save £88 in OPTIMAL circumstances! And the UW deals with no minimum contract terms either as opposed to tie-ins likely with all of the ones you quoted! No mention also of the potential reductions from the bill with the cashback card, which would only require a monthly spend of around £150 to generate the cashback required to cover the £88 per annum difference and make UW the cheapest proposition overall.
Why use 5%? I have no idea why 5%...most people spend at the supermarket 3% is more realistic and there is a £10 application fee and a £1 per month usage fee on the card as well as top up fees. It makes the maths very difficult. I would estimate a spend of £300 per month will guarantee the £88 of savings per year taking into account the fees and charges involved.

Thanks for the figures HappyMJ, you'd be a good distributor! You just need to point out the additional benefits as well as the excellent numbers you have provided.
Probably would be...lol...I certainly don't mean to be..

Anyone doing what you propose would, to steal a phrase from my old pal Q, most definitely be a "busy fool" trying to keep up with all of the different companies for the sake of about £7 a month (pre-cashback)!

    Priceless.
I wouldn't personally want to have one bill for gas, electric, home phone and broadband. Some people like it some don't.

OK fair enough spend an extra £10 and go with Npower SOL24. That's assuming average usage. On my usage levels the savings are vastly different. I'm still with Npower Price Protector and nothing beats it on my usage level.

Npower?? - ooh no.:D how about EDF? I've found them amazing so far. Not. :p It really is a minefield out there TBH. I do know now (in hindsight which is a marvellous thing) that there's no way I Nwould have transferred to EDF for just the £6/mth saving I was making at the time. No way on earth. Even at minimum wage, i reckon they owe me approx £90 for the time I've spent listening to their awful on hold muzak. And i don't work for minimum wage. It's made me realise that, within reason obviously, price is only one factor. I would actually like to transfer my gas to UW (we aren't big users and there's not much in it) so that we get 24/7 inclusive calls but I'm fearful that, as EDF haven't managed to produce even ONE gas bill in the 10 months I've been with them, i would never get a final bill!

PS I find it hilarious that we still haven't had one comment from Cardew on UWs market beating sim only mobile deals. You see, I'm sure people would find him more credible on here if he actually admitted they were unbeatable (they clearly are or he would have been writing War and Peace-esque posts about them). To not even acknowledge their existence because he knows they are unbeatable makes him appear what he is - someone with an irrational grudge against UW and someone who is hell bent on commenting only in the negative on the company.

You can't knock Npower. Npower supplies gas and electricity to the customers of Utility Warehouse. Npower will visit a Utility Warehouse customer if they have a problem with the supply. So if you don't like Npower then avoid Utility Warehouse.

Oh, I can :D. Of course it's the same G&E but I am talking about CS. The company are consistently at the very bottom of Which surveys into energy company customer satisfaction and have been for several years. Fact.

It's the same with UWs broadband - I use it and I know it's basically TalkTalk re-branded. Our BB is fine and reliable but I wouldn't dream of signing up to TalkTalk. it's that pesky CS again, you see.

Cardew's gone quiet on par with his normal "party-piece" of saying nothing when he is either proven wrong or asked for evidence, then he'll let the thread develop for a couple more pages in the hope that by the time he re-posts more nonsense the questions he was asked or details challenged upon will have been forgotten.

It's quite pathetic, really. But amusing all the same!

PS When was the last time they increased their telephony products? Seems like ages ago - unlike Cardew's telephony provider of choice QUOTE]

You keep on about BT being a rip off.

I tried to price the equivalent UW price for the Broadband and Phone Service I get from BT, however wading through 20+ pages of UW’s terms and conditions – with so many extra charges – I gave up.
    https://www.utilitywarehouse.co.uk/files/terms_and_conditions/Terms_and_conditions.pdf

I have just re-negotiated my BT contract and had an offer for a further 12 months. I have:

Phone line rental. I pay annually. Includes Caller ID and voice mail.

Unlimited anytime calls 24/7 including 0845 and 0870 numbers + 200 free texts

    Broadband Option 2

This is a nominal 20Mb service but apparently no provider can get me more than the 4Mb I get from my exchange.

    40GB download usage.

Full McAfee security suite(firewall/anti virus etc) This for my Desktop PC and the 3 laptops in the house.

    The latest Hub3 wireless router

Unlimited Wi Fi access for myself and family at 3 million ‘hot spots’ in UK and 400,000 abroad.

    Free Technical support

    Digital Vault – 5GB

So can any kind UW salesman(or Quentin) tell me how much this package would cost – including UW’s monthly membership fee?

You show me yours and I’ll show you mine!

Nope. There are some elements of the BT package which are not available via UW, therefore any comparison would not be on a like-for-like basis.

Of course, you already know this. You were waiting for a response that you could pick holes in, but you're not going to get one from me.

Well done for attempting to change the subject away from the previous figures which proved UW's value. Your posts are all a sham.
