I wouldn't personally want to have one bill for gas, electric, home phone and broadband.
And if you choose not to, nobody should try and say you are wrong. It's called personal choice. A freedom that we have in this country although some here would like it taken away.

Has Quentin come up with any evidence to show that the UW pre payment card has caused anybody, anybody at all, ever, a problem with non payment?

Nope. There are some elements of the BT package which are not available via UW, therefore any comparison would not be on a like-for-like basis.

Of course, you already know this. You were waiting for a response that you could pick holes in, but you're not going to get one from me.

Well done for attempting to change the subject away from the previous figures which proved UW's value. Your posts are all a sham.

It is your fellow multi-named enthusiast that keeps wanting to change the subject from UW's very high gas and electricity prices to BT phone prices.

So just give me the basic prices of the UW telephone and mobile package. and leave out the features that BT have that are not available with UW

Obviously I contend that the BT package I have is far better than UW's package.

Equally obviously you are aware that the BT package is far better so are not prepared to make the comparison. Obviously I would 'pick holes' in any specious argument you make - but if you are straighforward there wouldn't be anything on which to pick you up.

A few posts ago you were stating that you would always get the better product(your silly analogy about wills if you remember); well even you could surely not deny that BT have the better product.

So you are a UW salesperson, always aggressively pushing UW products and attacking, in personal terms, Quentin and myself for stating verifyable true facts about UW.

You have refused to give any details about UW's telephone and internet services on the grounds that they will compare badly with BT?

A UW ID that won't discuss gas and electricity prices, won't discuss internet prices, won't discuss phone prices!

Yet you have the gall to call me a fraud and my posts a sham?

Perhaps other UW salesmen, or the multi-named poster, might not be so disingenuous and post details - or Quentin as he seems to know far more about UW prices than most on this forum.

    P.S.
Did I read that the UW pay-as-you-go phone must be topped up with at least £10 monthly - genuine question by the way.

PPS NigleWick is on line - he doesn't stoop to BS - perhaps he would answer.

There a mistake on the website.

For example on the Mobile Phone page if you scroll down to Valuepay - The UK's cheapest Pay as you Go phone in the detail it says you can get "£200 to help you switch".....but you can't.
Just like to note that mistake has now been fixed.

Please provide proof of multiple posting names by the same person as has been requested a number of times in the past, or stop going on about it if you have no evidence of this. I believe your friend says "put up or shut up".
So just give me the basic prices of the UW telephone and mobile package. and leave out the features that BT have that are not available with UW
The prices will be different depending on whether you have LLU capacity or not. The price which is applicable in your particular situation can be found by putting your information into the checking facility on the website at www.uwdc.co.uk
Obviously I contend that the BT package I have is far better than UW's package.
If you already know the prices for the UW package against the BT one, why are you asking the question? State your facts, instead of trying to be clever and catch people out.
Equally obviously you are aware that the BT package is far better so are not prepared to make the comparison.
I am not aware of any such thing. I don't know anything about that package other than what you have written in your previous post, which may or may not be fictitious, and I certainly don't know what the cost is.
Obviously I would 'pick holes' in any specious argument you make - but if you are straighforward there wouldn't be anything on which to pick you up.
You already know the answers to the questions you ask, as you have proven with your previous comments. Grow up.
A few posts ago you were stating that you would always get the better product(your silly analogy about wills if you remember); well even you could surely not deny that BT have the better product.
Of course I can. Something having a load of things that I don't personally need doesn't make it better. I can sell you a car, or a car with a cake included in the deal. Just because the car with a cake comes with a cake, that doesn't make it better than the previous car minus confectionery.
So you are a UW salesperson, always aggressively pushing UW products and attacking, in personal terms, Quentin and myself for stating verifyable true facts about UW.
You rarely post facts, verifiable (note spelling) or otherwise, and when you are challenged on your "facts" you change the subject or don't post for a couple of pages so that your nonsense isn't noticed.
You have refused to give any details about UW's telephone and internet services on the grounds that they will compare badly with BT?
No, as I said, I refuse on the basis that it's not a like-for-like comparison. Twist, twist, twist. You should be a Labour politician.
A UW ID that won't discuss gas and electricity prices, won't discuss internet prices, won't discuss phone prices!
There has been masses of discussion in recent pages about all of these things. When the UW was PROVEN to be competitive by HappyMJ's post which was most helpful, you didn't respond to it and were silent before changing the subject. Pathetic.
Yet you have the gall to call me a fraud and my posts a sham?
    You'd better believe it, baby.
Perhaps other UW salesmen, or the multi-named poster, might not be so disingenuous and post details - or Quentin as he seems to know far more about UW prices than most on this forum.
You know the details, why don't you post them? They are there for all to see at www.uwdc.co.uk
    P.S.
Did I read that the UW pay-as-you-go phone must be topped up with at least £10 monthly - genuine question by the way.
Your note that this is a genuine question betrays you. That makes it obvious that you know that all of your previous ones are disingenuous.

Their proofreader hasn't removed the (misleading) claims that they supply "the cheapest standard gas and electricity", though has now added a "*" to the misleading claim.

The "*" refers you to their worthless "double the difference price promise".

To take advantage of this so called promise, you must transfer to them from a cheaper company in the first place as they only compare your UW cost against your previous supplier (so how does this mean they are the cheapest in the UK), AND take at least 4 services (as well as pay their monthly membership fee) etc etc.

Making the "cheapest" claim just cynical headline grabbing misleading advertising copy for their reps to hang their hats on!

    Fact.

UW have just about the most expensive gas and electricity in UK.

    Fact

BT can provide a far better and cheaper telephone and internet package than UW. UW's headline figure is a nonsense because of all the added extras found in the 'small print'

Afraid not. I benefit from UW's telephoen and internet package, and it is significantly cheaper than the deal I had with my previous supplier, BT.

So, even when you try to actually give some facts, your facts are somewhat less than factual and full of opinion instead. Why don't you give up, as you are obviously clutching at straws now.

Or, better still, keep posting. Your nonsense makes the UW proposition look better every time I make one of your "myths" look silly.

Only when you have 4 services and a cashback card does it look somewhere near cheap. It's not the cheapest in the UK nor is it the most expensive. As a standalone product UW gas and electricity is not cheap.

I like my wireless broadband router, caller number display, anonymous call rejection, outbound call barring, Voicemail, call forwarding, 40GB internet allowance, Netprotect plus, bt openzone, free second landline number and phone, free evening and weekend calls....all for £23.30. What can UW do that for? I don't mind losing 1 or 2 features if neccessary.

I'm actually thinking of swtiching to O2 for £25 for the year. Lose a few more features but the price is very good.

Not forgetting, free technical support, digital Vault, 200 texts a month, Free wi fi at millions of hot spots all over UK.

When away from home, using a hot spot with an IPod Touch and Skype I can make phone calls all over the world for free or to a landline for 1.4p.

As suggested on another forum I rang a branch in BT and negotiated a big discount(again)

Well then tell us how much you pay and for what facilities.

Or is a UW salesperson scared to put it in writing because they know BT has a better deal?
