Discredit no just pointing out that UW dont offer the cheapest line rental as they claim. If UW were cheaper then Primus i would also point that out on appropriate threads.
Come to think i couldnt because your not allowed to discuss UW in other threads.:D0 -

Surprised you didnt mention the paper-free discount of £1.25 is being withdrawn by BT from the 3/12/2011.:D0 -
MillicentBystander wrote: »PS HappyMJ, are your included calls with your deal 24/7 or just weekend only? And isn't the £10/mth line rental dependent on you stumping up £120 in one go and handing it over to BT? Isn't the line rental £13.90/mth REALLY? Soon to increase to £14.60/mth? Lots you aren't explaining in your quest to prove a point. Comparing apples and oranges aren't you, my friend. Apples and oranges.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

If the iii TEP discussion board is anything to go by the new website with online sign up seems to be re-awakening previously 'sleepy' distributors. Tempted to top up my holding, even at £7.25!0

Free evening and weekend calls but I don't take my gas and electricity with BT. I don't make enough daytime calls for it to count anyway they are only 5p each if I were to make one most of the time I just use Skype or use the mobile.
And what about the £120 up front payment? You don't seem to mention that anywhere in your posts..0 -

TBH it's difficult to keep up with the various price increases with BT these days. I know their pension fund has a huge black hole but really. Does this apply retrospectively, i.e to Cardew and Happy?
PS Here's a poser: wef from 3/12/11 any idea how much a 5 second UK landline daytime call with BT actually costs?
PPS Still waiting on Cardew's 'special' BT price. AFAICT the 'everbody else' price is almost £42/mth  I'm suspecting it's way more than £16/mth (WITHOUT the mobile element) or he would have been steaming in like Stephenson's Rocket. Maybe it's a secret like his 'secret' G&E tariff.0 -
Great stuff Maz. I notice the 2 main antagonists on this thread haven't even made a comment. Speaks volumes. I am at a loss as to where this hatred for the Utility warehouse comes from. They throw accusations around but none have ever (as far as we can tell) ever used the services offered, yet they feel qualified to criticise both the company and worse customers. How dare they. Nigewick said it best - it's called freedom of choice.
Have these antagonists really got people's best interests at heart. I suspect one of them is being paid for throwing accusations around. I suspect another is just deliberately trying to cause antagonism. For anyone coming on here who has never had any contact with the UW, this thread will offer them nothing.
Congratulations again Maz. I was in contact with a businessman earlier this week. He had heard of the UW from his dad who apparently is a very happy club member. He is now thinking of joining because since opening his business he's had nothing but trouble with the various utility companies he is using. He told me bluntly that what attracts him most (which is also the reason I joined) is because of the one bill and one DD. Now I agree not everyone like that - don't understand why to be honest but there you go.
Whether he becomes a customer of mine or the person who signed up his dad is no skin off my nose. What matters is he feels he will benefit. And if he does - great stuff. He made the decision - one one has forced him. Yet at least one the antagonists on here would probably call this businessman a 'busy fool' whatever that actually means.
Steve
Still a very happy customers and also an even more happy distributor. My belief has shot up.
Thanks for this Steve.
I notice that my original post about my HAPPY NEW CUSTOMER has mysteriously disappeared! Together with Meeper's reply!
Wonder why that is or, more likely who reported it for some bizarre reason?
Maybe it was the fact that the content goes against some posters agenda or maybe it was the reference to the part of my sig which defines 'Puritanism' that hit a nerve or two!'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

The only reason for posts disappearing would be because multiple people report them as spam, then they are removed whilst it is investigated, or there is a proper report which the mods decide to remove it permanently.
Either way, I have no idea why anyone would want to remove a post which told a good-news story, other than the fact that it furthers their own anti-UW agenda.
Mods on this forum need to make it known if they are going to remove things that paint UW in a good light, so that we can be sure of the site's stance.I am an Independent Financial AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as an Independent Financial Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. How utterly pathetic! Says a lot about he/she/they who reported it! Am tempted to repost just for the hell of it!'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

There is likely to be only 2 people that would do that. So it begs the question how many does it take for the moderators to remove a post. Personally I don't know why any UW ID would want to post on here now. I firmly believe that it would die if we didn't. I've been a customer from the early days. And while the company is not perfect - there is no such thing. And I will criticise when I think it has got things wrong, I will never go back to the likes of BT or BG however much they try to bribe me. Their bribes are insincere. UW's aren't.
C & Q obviously have some personal issues to deal with. Let them deal with them on their own.0
