I wonder how much of that £2m fine will come from the profits they make. Unless fines actually hurt the pockets of the people who make these decisions then nothing will change, it will ultimately be passed on to its customers0
-
All they need do is raise their prices again to take care of the fine.0
-
50% directly from the pockets of the board and 50% from shareholder dividends is the only way that the fine will have any effect on future performance.0

I agree, who pays this. It will ONLY hurt the company if the shareholders pay it. I don't give a damn how they abstract it but that's the way to go.:mad::mad:0 -
It wont hurt them, whats 2 million? Think the big problem with them is their management, and ways big companys adopt processes. Got to say though if a company was been charged £400 a time for the energy ombudsman, why would they recommend. This they should, but if found to be the customer at fault they shouldnt be charged as some will complain for the sake of it.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Very good news. :T0

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Couldn't have happened to a nicer set of people could it?
In the scheme of things two million pound is a drop in the ocean to Npower but I would hope that with this and a Judge previously finding them to have harrassed a customer Directors & Shareholders may finally start asking questions about what is going on.
The question now is surely also what have / are Ofgem going to do to ensure that the complaints have been resolved satisfactorily & customers this £2m relates to properly recompensed?0 -
