The sum total of their sob-stories may be stretching credibility a bit, but to be fair, there's no real contradiction in saying they have a 10-year-old in one post and that they need 13-year-old size clothes in another. My son wore 13-year-old size clothes when he was 10.0

I only joined freegle recently, and thank goodness for the "view offered only". We've had someone on our local one post "Has anyone for a digital freeview box? I've given my digital tv to my demanding teenager, and didn't realise I would be downgrading. Please can anyone help?". No we can't! Be a tough parent, walk into your teenagers room and get back!0

I have fantastic experiences on mine. Free cycle isn't about giving to charity its about avoiding landfill and so as far as I am concerned you are welcome to my items if you are a millionaire.
I gave away a washing machine and a wardrobe that originally cost £1000 this week. Both collected promptly by lovely people- both people who really embrace fc and are givers as well as takers (easy to check by searching the group). Came home today to find chocolates left by one and flowers from the other.June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving
July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550
October challenge £100 a day. £385/£31000 -
ever since my freegle changed to "ilovefreegle.org" you can no longer search posts................or can you and I just can't find the option?
ok I know 10yr olds fit age 13 clothes..........but they also want toys for a 13yr old........
I've just come accross another "i can collect anytime today..............so long as it's convienient to me" waster. They wanted a time (after 3 email exchanges) so i said "within the next hour"...... whats the betting they convieniently don't check their emails for at least another hour..............loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
a small request for once, but unless the donor lives next door surely a waste of time and effort to pick up?!Wanted : Christams Wine Gift Bag
Just thought I'd ask if anyone wanted to recycle one?0 -

probably the cost of petrol will far outweigh the urge to join an hour long queue to get one.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

Chickywiggle, the search on Freegle Direct is at the top on the right hand side - a search box (albeit short) is there next to the green "All categories" bit.
Freegle have just had a good bit of advertising today:
