It's not like when she found out in June that she was 3 months pregnant she could have guessed the baby might come near Christmas...0 -
The table went last night! They left it until the last minute to arrive - I had just about given them up as a no show. Still very few manners, no thank you's! Perhaps the nest time I offer something I should post that nice manners would almost guarantee they would get offered the item! :rotfl::j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

I've only had good experiences of freecycle. I put on some tickets to a local concert on a day when we all had flu and couldn't go.
The woman who got them (I think it was sold out) bought us a huge bunch of flowers and some choccies and gave me a hug (which wasn't advisable because I was minging at the time and she probably caught it).0 -

No not allowed on mine either as not categorised as items that would have otherwise been put in the tip.

I expect different groups have different rules. My freegle allows tickets and coupons/vouchers.I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0

I'm a member of two freecycle groups which are local and I'd put it on both one allowed it and one didn't.
It was pretty clear that it was a genuine thing though and not a scam. If I'd put free one direction tickets or something then I'm sure that they wouldn't have listed it but it was a local folk thing. It would have been a big shame if they'd gone to waste so I was glad they went to a good home.0 -
I can't complain too much about freecycle lately-had 2 items offered and taken within a matter of hours, a table and a xmas tree. Then recieved short thank you emails once they were taken which makes a change.0
