People get once chance to collect stuff I am offering. Anyone who fails to turn up gets an email saying it's going to the next person on the list. If I have prior notice they aren't able to come I offer one more chance.

I never ring anyone in regards to an offer - If you ask me to it goes straight in the bin.

This is mainly cos I hate speaking on the phone, and why should I do all the work for something someone else is getting for free.

Now do people nowadays have home phones cause i know all my friends and family do. Why do people insist in you calling them on their mobiles (not everyone has contracted free mins) . Again this is a experience I am thinking puts me off even more offering items.

I did actually put in the post no time wasters please, no messing around pick up urgently and no we wont call mobile phones !!!

Sorry rant over I personally have not offered any items lately as fed up with the mucking about waiting it, no shows, lateness and general rudeness in requesting.

I don't respond to folk who expect me to call them to say they can have my item.

I email to say they can have it and give my number.

They phone me to arrange collection and only then do I email my address.

If they don't turn up they go into my fekwit file and never ever offered anything again.

I am looking for a spare 1TB external hard drive, doesn't need to be portable, but 1TB of storage is really a must. It is for backing up my music and karaoke collection.

well the lady did not turn up for the rug and i took the advice of another poster and put it on ebay for £12 buy it now or make an offer and lady has bought it for £10 !!! Gosh and I couldnt give it away but sold it for £10 instead beggars belief
