WANTED sleeping bag and torch
Hello
Maybe you can help me with a sleeping bag and a torch. I am going on a training with my future employer and need these two items.
I am a tall guy: 1.93 so I will not need the kids ones.
Maybe you have one that you don't use.
Thank you!
i assume their future employer dosnt require good english skills

I know they're only small in terms of keeping out of landfill, but the components have still probably got some unplesant stuff in them. So definitely still better for an old one to be reused than binned.0 -
I've turned to gumtree to get rid of stuff and actually the response is of a better standard.
Although I did just get asked if I would deliver a cat litter tray from SW London to Walthamstow.0 -
Best post I've ever seen on Freecycle
Hi Guys (or in this case, Gals),
Fed up with the kids making their model airplane kits up using the kitchen table? Is he-who-must-not-be-laughed-at into model trains and train spotting?
Then you need Sue's guaranteed no-taste cyanid... sorry, Hobby Table(s)!
These started life as perfectly innocent computer desks, you know the sort of thing, metal frame with wheels on one side and pads on the other, so you can move them around easily by lifting one side. Wood effect laminate on the top and on the sliding shelf, etc. But, by the Modern Miracle of self-removing plastic, the top is now plain, non-slip, chipboard.
Now, you Blue Peter fans could reach for your every-ready rolls of sticky-backed plastic and turn them back into nerdy computer desks... However..
As they are, they would prove to be perfect for boys and their toys. No more burn/glue/paint/drill/?? marks on the kitchen table! No bogeys hidden underneath (kids, don't you love them? Well, he will *say* that it must have been the kids) Just add an 8 ft square plastic sheet to the floor and a bib and hublet can be assembling his 000-oo-000 triple gauge Stevenson's Atlantic Express in no time. If it's a nice day he can wheel it to somewhere Sunny to use that teeth-grinding pneumatic compressor thingy - like Africa. Being pestered for sex will be a thing of the past - just mention that his bell-crank alignment didn't look quite right and he will be off to check it sooner than you can say, "Thank Heavens!"
Of course these tables wouldn't be of any use for doing anything, well, useful. Like for making shelves or fixing that tap that has been dripping for 12 YEARS. But it does seem a shame to take them to the tip..0 -

So only after 4 months do they decide enough is enough!hi we recently got a washing machine from this site but are missing the red inlet water pipe for hot water.if any1 has an old one they no longer need, let me know, cheers,Dave.
They'll probably post tomorrow asking for the clothes to go in the washing machine!0 -

It's the sort of thing I would do (or at least would have done more so in the past) when taking a busted washing machine to the dump I would have removed anything that might be useful in the future and kept it.
Which means someone like me is totally likely to have a red inlet water pipe for hot water for a washine machine lying around not being used. If I did, passing it on to a freecycler would totally fit the purpose for which I kept it in the first place.
Wouldn't be something I'd ever advertise as "offered", so the ideal example of a "wanted".0 -
