I'd use freecycle if they actually banned all the WANTED posts!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Someone was asking for a 40" tv on mine "must be flat screen and in working order" :rotfl:

Posted on my local Freecycle site, can't they teach their children to share?:

    WANTED W****** PLEASE: Scooter

Hi my daughter has just been on her big brother's scooter and cried when we took
her off, she is now asking for one of her own.

Has anyone got one that they don't use anymore please as she would be so
    greatful to rehome it.

She is only 2 so will accept either a toddler version or a bigger 2 wheeled one
where you can drop the handle.

Thank you in advance to anyone who can offer us something and make a little girl
    very happy.
    My daughters are my world

I particularly liked one I saw the other day asking for books I think but with the proviso you MUST be able to deliver them!! Suppose they want you to read them to them as well!

I'm always advertising my books on my local one and rarely get any takers. However it is not uncommon for someone to reply and say how delighted they are that I have agreed to let them have them and when will I deliver?

I've also had serious issues about people not colllecting and I contacted the mods in the end who apparently have a list and once someone fails to collect on two seperate occasions they are banned.

I've all but given up again now though. The last thing I advertisied was a box of very good condition Mills and Boon books. I only got one response and that was 'are these suitable for children?' When I replied no, they then said did i have any childrens books as their children needed some.

I fear the local people felt the same way. :rotfl:

Unfortunately when I buy in bulk I sometimes get several boxes of books that I just don't want.

" As Ralph tore her bodice open his gentle air abandoned him and he was consumed with an overwhelming passion that left unspent ".....etc etc

actually this JUST appeared on our Freegle

I am offering free to anyone who can collect, my Piano which I have owned and played since childhood. It has always had a beautiful tone, and was regularly tuned until last year. However since then, it has begun to echo, and buzz slightly so will need some repairs doing, as well as another tuning.

isnt that nice ! - it sought of balances things up to me from that blatent " we want - give it us now !" post to someone giving away such a beautifull thing as a piano
