The same person has just posted these 3 ads on ours,
side table for a living room
    wall cabinet
looking for a working dish washer

Seems to me that they're also looking for some basic good manners.

Another one has just come through from her,
clothes for a 4 year old girl
Funnily enough they've never offered anything themselves.

A freezer drawer might do at a pinch until a couple of months old! but I am sure not whilst actually in the freezer lol!

on a side note - they may want it so they can make formula in advance and store it in the fridge to make nighttime feeds less complicated. or likewise if they are expressing breastmilk and planning on freezing it?

  • I rarely look at mine now, but checking over the last week the discrepancy between value (and volume) of 'offereds' and 'wanteds' is immense. 95% of the 'wanteds' are high value items that are eminently re-saleable (and mostly not vital). I used it recently to ask for jam jars, which is the sort of thing it was originally started for, i.e. stuff that doesn't have re-sale appeal so would go to landfill if not taken... not for Wiis which I for one would not consider just sending to the tip!!!

BTW - the lovely lady who did provide me with some jars was kind enough to drop them off for me when she was passing (when she realised that I would be coming by public transport) .... there are some lovely people out there and I may well have Freegled myself a new friend as well :)
  • Amazing,......... this woman has now posted the same wanted for a buggy board (same wording etc) 6 times since 7th July........ she can't be that concerned over her sons welfare (i even helpfully told her where she could buy one!!!)

    Hi everyone,
Have been looking for one of these around but no luck, anyone got one they no longer need? Heartbroken I made my 3yo walk too much yesterday and fell asleep in nursery as soon as he got there. I have to send the husband for it so as local as possible would be really appreciated. Thanks for reading.

and again - she just keeps re-posting the same one every few weeks......... am half tempted to send her another e-mail saying "you can't be that heartbroken, John Lewis still sells them as I told you back in July"
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
