I assume, that as long as people offer to 'fastest finger first' people are going to do the automatic reply thing and be rude by not mentioning the item otherwise you'd never get anything.0

Hi there folks, I know it's a bit of a tall order but I have recently
moved to London and no longer have anywhere to practice playing drums
without annoying the neighbours!
I'm looking for an electric drum kit so I can practice with headphones,
Here is an idea, when my daughter was nine she started to save, when she was eleven she bought herself a top of the range Yamaha Electric kit.
Save your pennies hard my friend and you too can be like that little girl.0 -
Last night someone posted an eight week old kitten on my local group and this morning someone has posted this
'Hi, we would like to bring home a little kitten all being well and wondered if anyone who has got any unused litter tray, spoon gravel etc lying around not used we would love to bring it to a good use, as we are very excited ... But will need to be ready with the absolute basic before we can bring little one home x'
Probably connected with the one offered? It really scares me that someone would get a kitten on a whim, the things they ask for wouldn't cost much more than a tenner, but the other costs connected with a kitten are huge. We adopted two rescue rabbits two weeks ago and three days after BOTH had babies. I've found potential homes for some and was going to put a card on the pet shop notice board offering the others free to good homes (the shop doesn't actually sell animals), but the manager told me to charge at least £20 each as he thought people would value them more then.
I'm not saying that these people won't value their kitten but I really really hope they've thought about the costs of keeping it for 15+ years.0 -
I know it is a bit off topic but the last but one car boot sale I did someone had kittens in a carrying case in the back of the car and a note on their table 'ask to see my kittens for sale- £10 each'.
I told one of the organisers and they said they were already aware and we going to have it dealt with and not to go back and tackle the seller until they had a chance to do what they were planning. Never did know what happened but i hope they were waiting for the RSPCA or something to attend.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I think that a horse fits in all of those categories because horses are
beautiful to look at and they can be cute when playing around. When they
are just galloping freely they look grace full. When they are
performing they look very elegant. Plus they are a good friend to trust
and rely on. They also rely on you for a lot of things and all have
different personalities.
Most beautiful would probably be the Bengal tiger. Something along those
lines. For elegance, I think I would go with the cat. Or maybe the
horse. And my (domestic) rats are too cute ^^ Baby rats are adorable,
too:

"I want" gets nothing, as my mum used to say;)0 -
WHY ARE YOU GUYS SO RUDE? you dont have to respond so negativly to wants. some people dont have a way with words. and some dont have a sob story. my mum said, "if you cant say anything nice dont say anything at all"life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0
