Just brought this printer from Comet and printed out a letter on 120gsm paper and although it came out very sharp, the paper has 3 parallel marks running down the length of it preumably from the rollers. Has any one experienced this? Is anything adjustable?

well maybe not fire, but some smoke.

printed a 50 page document today, and the roller at the top started to issue wispy smoke. I know it says it can get hot when printing, but smoke ??

anyone else had similar experiences ?
Karma is a wonderful thing. ;)
  • Just ordered one thanks, but be aware that Comet is still charging for delivery!
  • Haven't bought the printer but thinking about it. The refills though are normally around £40 each which is really expensive.
However, a quick search on Ebay found a pack of 2 refill kits at under £13
including the postage (Buy it now price)
Has anyone else experienced these refills, are they any good?

    Thanks Martin, another valuable post
  • Yes Jeff. Please read previous posts in this thread - that question has already been answered several times.
  • I have an earlier Samsung, the ML1210, which has been a great workhorse. I was keen to purchase this bargain - but Comet won't deliver to Northern Ireland. Grrr!
  • For info, I noticed printer stock was available to order on-line last Saturday, but that Comet has now dropped the free delivery.
