We use Tesco loo roll, not the value stuff, the next one up. I'm too stingy to buy quilted stuff!!! :rotfl: I would actually like one of those little spray hose things that you get in Asia, no need for any loo roll and they are so hygienic.

Thanks for the coat hanger and flushing tips.

p.s. aren't most plungers too small for a toilet bowl? We have one but it's so small it's surely only for a sink plughole...

The plunger you need is 100mm drain cleaner

This fits the toilet u-bend perfectly, also available at B&Q Screwfix..

You can get smaller ones, but we got an big old-fashioned brown rubber plunger from our local poundshop.

OK, not 'borrowed'... 'took' (with permission).

I did this once at my OH's house not long ago actually I think it was too much loo roll he goes mad at me for it :( He told me to only use 5 squares I use more than that!! lol Men eh!

I mean how can a woman only use 5 squares!! It's rare that I do a number two when I'm at his house and I stay there from a friday till a sunday night and I don't have one in all that time (I just can't go) :(

  • The ex worked as a motorcycle courier and would save these up for deliveries to the most exclusive offices where the receptionists or security were snooty. He'd ask if he could use the loo and then - well, you can guess how they must have reacted after he had disappeared off into the city.

He knows if he tries it on here when he drops DD back of a weekend, that I will chase him down the road with a used toilet brush!
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
