Please don't let certain individuals get to you or your GF. Some comments have been totally out of line. Some do enjoy being malicious. Hope you find work, as it's not easy in this climate at the moment, but most of all, hope you enjoy your little one. :)

Thanks Lip_Stick, Nice to see there are some genuine members still on here.

This one sums up your stupidity and the old saying you see what you want to see, find me where anywhere in the whole of this post it has stated that her sons father pays maintenance... You wont as it has never been said because funny enough it does not happy, He never has nor will... Wait is that another Assumption.....

Oh dear. Have you not learned how to read? Your girlfriend told the world that she doesn't want maintenance from her son's father. She can't be that desperate for money then, can she?

I get no child support from my sons father and to be quite frank I dont want it, we have been fine without so will keep it this way.

We are a couple, in every way apart from the fact that he does not live here, he lives at his mums, Or should I say sleeps there, as he is with me and my son most of the time, we eat together every night, go out together etc, he wants to and will be around when the new baby is here. We both would love him to move in perm and build our family together, but I am worried I could loose everything if he did as we simply couldnt afford the full rent here, my 3 year old has got into the School I want and starts in Sept, he is settled so unsettling him is not an option. My partner is totally supporting me and understands my position he wants to move in but does not want to cause unrest in my son and also for me. This is why I must check all this info out first and see what of the money and help I currently receive will I keep/loose/change. Then I can make the decision knowing I run no risks of unsettling my son.

    xx

I've quoted the rest in case it magically disappears.

What is your username as it most definatly should be Mr Assumption suitably as you never seem to get the facts YOU ASSUME! Once again I say just drop it, there is no right or wrong here, you tried to once again belittle someone and failed this time, as this one fights his corner. This could go on all night but quite frankly Ive got things to do and as much as you may wish them to they dont nor will ever involve a bitter little prune like you once and for all BORE OFF!

I'm not Mr anything, love, I'm FEMALE.

All the facts have been given on this thread by you and your girlfriend! You can backtrack all you like, but between the 2 of you you've sewn yourselves up like kippers ;)

In a nutshell - whether you are living there or not, you are a couple and she should not be claiming benefits as a single person. Completely on topic.

Perhaps you could quote the post where I condoned benefit fraud?
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

    Ok to put an end to this;

iamana1ias - The child father never has to this day wanted to be a part of the childs life, he had his chance and didnt wish to know he offered her money and she refused not because she was or was not hard up for money but it was out of pride she didnt need him nor his money, she wanted him to be there for his kid nothing else he didnt want to so she wanted nothing. As for your sex you could be a he-she for all I care, your points are simply going to be ignored from now on. because like your input its pointless.

Welshmoneylover - As I mentioned I voted Tories I know the ins and outs of what they are proposing, look beyond the Sun newspapers headlines as I said its not all black and white. I do enjoy my sony TV thanks very much, blu-ray looks amazing on it!

Oldernotwiser - Thank you we did not realise this and will act on it we do not want to be always looking over our shoulder. ITs all we really needed to know.

Lip_Stick - pay no attention once again she is assuming you condone benefit fraud.

For the record we have just done the benefits Calculator and it seems we have miseed somethings we are eligable for this seems we can live together legally and still somehow end up £30 better off so my full tax paying money from the last 13 years and my other halfs from and currently of 15 years can help us out for the time being till I get into full time work again. We will arrange a meeting with the Job centre tomorrow GUTTED to those that mouthed off, thats called Karma!!

To those that helped many thanks

It will be a different sort of Karma when they realise you've been a couple all along and prosecute you for benefit fraud!

It warms my heart when I come across a family who really know how to put the welfare of the child first.....

Seriously, is anyone suprised we have so many NEETs roaming around collecting ASBOs if the view of some modern parents is "Screw the baby...we're not living together 'cos it means less benefit money"

Op - shame on you and your partner. If you can't be bothered toughing it out and providing for that baby as a couple under the same roof, then perhaps you should have used contraception!
