I just noticed this as well how narrow minded are some of you people honestly. How or what gives you the power to deem she has relied on benefits all her adult life??! The state pay child benefit regardless of anything anyone can get it single mother or not you could be Joe Bloggs with no money or Victoria Beckham take this up with the people who run the country !

But child benefit is the tip of the iceberg isn't it. How about the means tested benefits you're getting?

Let the state pick up the tab, umm she works and I had worked and will once again as soon as I find another Job. There fore she is giving it and simply taking some back So take your opinion and tell someone whos gives a ...

So she makes more money in part-time wages than all her benefits put together? Pull t'other one. If she gets anything more than 25% of her wages back in benefits then she's in quite tidy credit.

Serious it makes me wonder how I cant get back into work at the moment yet some (but by no means all) of you shallow, ill-informed, think they know it all, people hold down jobs! Dont you think that annoys me in the same way this post has annoyed you, think about it!

You're not clever enough to do my job. You're not bright enough to do any job in order to put food on the table. Benefit fraud you can *just* about manage.

Funny that my 5ps aren't good enough for you on here, but they're plenty good enough to support your girlfriend and kids.

Why are you still going on, funny enough I looked at the post you have been involved with and you seem to get a kick from giving scarcy comments and putting people down. For the record my partner is 31 and has worked all her life since she was 16 also. She only cut her hours when she fell preg with her child, she still works now so your not paying anything to support her or her kid. Once again know the facts, seriously your boring me now. Get over yourself and go try and be-little someone else because its not working here.

She is surviving simple as, her wages have nothing to do with you.

I get tax credits and housing benefit ( I rent frm a private landlord ) as I have a 3 year old frm a previous relationship.

Who pays for tax credits and housing benefit then? And council tax benefit, and childcare?

She started the thread because she's completely reliant on the benefits!

Even if she's earning £10 an hour (unlikely) then she's barely paying tax or NI. She's coining it in with your fraudulent arrangements. Luckily Labour are out and the handouts are about to dry up.

  • The reason I took offence to the post was that I myself had been falsely accused of benefit fraud.

If you & your girlfriend are partners (that's how you refer to each other) then you are treated as a couple for benefit purposes whether or not you officially live together.

That would be the outcome of any investigation that took place into your situation.

Id be careful if I were you as you never know who might phone the DWP & grass you up.

The people on this site are willing to give people benefit advice but if they suspect that you are commiting fraud then they automatically don't wanna know.

    What do you expect?
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Dont tell me what to and not to do for my family, you know nothing about me, do you have any kids, a wife, a partner. I would imagine not as your ignorance surpresses you. That statement simply says we would like to "go legal" in the same way my partner stated we both wanted to move in together, so again you cast an assumption!

This one sums up your stupidity and the old saying you see what you want to see, find me where anywhere in the whole of this post it has stated that her sons father pays maintenance... You wont as it has never been said because funny enough it does not happy, He never has nor will... Wait is that another Assumption.....
What is your username as it most definatly should be Mr Assumption suitably as you never seem to get the facts YOU ASSUME! Once again I say just drop it, there is no right or wrong here, you tried to once again belittle someone and failed this time, as this one fights his corner. This could go on all night but quite frankly Ive got things to do and as much as you may wish them to they dont nor will ever involve a bitter little prune like you once and for all BORE OFF!

Please don't let certain individuals get to you or your GF. Some comments have been totally out of line. Some do enjoy being malicious. Hope you find work, as it's not easy in this climate at the moment, but most of all, hope you enjoy your little one. :)
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

Hmmmmmm, someone remind me. Do the Tories *like* single parents on benefits???

They'll probably be the same MP's who dipped into the tax payers funds when they weren't entitled to.

BCS I have no problem with you at all, and I thank you for your honesty and advise. What I will not have is people trying to make my other half look stupid and then try and turn it on me.

I have used this site for a while now and know it has some great members who help and give sound advise, but if people suspect (bare in mind suspecting is not the same as prooving), I totally understand them not wanting to know and they should simply let it go but some simply do not want to. Its pathetic.

But thank you anyway for your input and advise.
