Well jus phoned to cancel my Virgin card and I've now got 0% percent on purchases until November :D.

So two 0% cards and one non 0%, whats the chances of HBOS giving me 0% -oo? Do I really need £4900 of interest free credit or am I just being greedy?

    My next response would be:

me: 'How do you know that? Have you personally spoken to her?'

I know, I don't really use credit cards unless I'm buying online and its over £100 but I like knowing if something unexpected comes up that I don't need to pay interest on it.

Never actually paid a penny in interest too the banks - they must hate me.

That reminds me, I need a new bank account cos A&L suck. Might get the HBOS account where you get a £5 a month thingy but I can't get a credit check just now, grr!

Actually I wonder if I could stooze? Hmmm

Nikki I wouldn't mess too much with credit cards till you ahve your mortgae safely under your belt. If you need to then fine otherwise I would leave alone till then.
same with bank account. all will do credit checks and the number of credit checks can affect your credit score I think. not an expert on it at all but just think it would be worth waiting.

I wish I hadnt paid a penny to the banks in interest :( I would be soooo much better off and not scared of answering the phone or the door to strangers.
