Hi all :-) am having a very lazy day- have acheived absolutely sod all :-/ just killing time til I go to the docs really. As soon as I get home from there I will work on my mini move...not sure what it will be yet!

Nikki I wouldn't mess too much with credit cards till you ahve your mortgae safely under your belt. If you need to then fine otherwise I would leave alone till then.
same with bank account. all will do credit checks and the number of credit checks can affect your credit score I think. not an expert on it at all but just think it would be worth waiting.

I won't open a new bank account until the mortgage goes through.
The credit cards through are ones I already have so no credit checks.
I'm actually probably gonna cancel my HBOS one. Then reopen in a few months to get a 15 months interest free again.0 -
