Electoral Services (or something with a similar name). If in doubt phone the switchboard and ask to be put through.

I just got offered a job as counting clerk for this 2011 election in Glasgow area - all it required was completion of a very simple one-page application form available for download on the local council website, then they took a couple of weeks to write back offering the job. I am sure it wouldn't be too late to apply if anyone interested got application in sharpish.

They pay £75 gross (£60 net if not tax exempt) and count takes place at the SECC.

Typical Manchester Council, I phoned and emailed to apply a few times in the past and they never replied to any of my calls or emails, Its a waste of money counting the votes in Manchester anyway, they could put a donkey up for labour in most areas and it would win easily.
