Mr Pocoyo was working for 6 hours 9.30pm-3.30am. Works out at £20 per hour which isn't too bad.

count night 9.30 -3am for £60 (this was rate we signed up for but went on longer due to recount caused by council staff making mistake adding up our figures - 100 out!)
AV count 3.30-7pm for £50, again, went on about an hour longer than necessary imho.
still money will be useful for hols.

I've been paid BACS a few days ago. I now have a form to sign to say I've received it. Strangely though, they've paid £80 instead of £75 plus expenses, and this form shows the actual pay as £100, the difference being tax. I am not supposed to pay tax. I'm sure I ticked a box to say so. Hmm...

BACS payment into my bank account last Friday.
£125 for a few hours "work" and a couple of hours of "entertainment" (spent as much time counting the number of people tripping over a rubber "step-on" cable duct taped to the floor right in front of us - lost count around the 168 mark :rotfl: )

Met a couple of great people sat either side of me - hope to see them next time - time really flew by - only seemed like a couple of hours even with a recount that pushed us a few minutes over the "contracted" finish time so got paid OVERTIME !! :j

Today I also received a form to sign and return confirming I've been paid - ALL details and amounts correct as per my invitation to be a Count Assistant

I haven't been paid yet, I was working as a poll clerk on the day. It was a very long day but well worth the money I think. I'm sure they said I would be paid by the 3rd June at the latest so not too long now.
