    Got GP appointment tomorrow.

I was promised quite an urgent appt, due to being pregnant, re seeing a clinical psychologist and I have not been contacted yet. Does anyone know how quickly I should be referred as I do think I need to 'speak to someone'

    Thanks

Ive been in a very simialr situation also pregnant and will a not si nice boss
Please do as the other have said keeping records of who what and when
I stayed on the sik and was also signed of by my GP. This was with a compnay that I had 10 years of service with. It seamed as soon as they found out I was expecting they made my life hell basically.
Are you being paid SSP now or do you get an enhanced package. If your being paid more than SSP id remain on the sick for as long as possible then go on maternity leave as it will give you more time off with the baby
Use the time to decorate and do up the nursery (I did) and for some you time before 2am feeds and the house looking like its Mothercare lol
Please PM if you want to chat. Good luck with the baby!

    Thanks for the comment narabanekeater
  • You are being bullied out of your job by your employer because you are pregnant and your employer does not want to have to pay you whilst you are on maternity leave or when you return to work thereafter.

Your employer is trying to force you out by making your life as uncomfortable as possible whilst all the while complying with the rules.

Forget ACAS, grievance provedures and all the rest of it. Buy legal expenses insurance that will cover employment litigation with immediate effect then instruct a lawyer.

I was bullied like you were for 1 year. Bully online is a good website to read.

Nervouswreck thanks for your input - in the next week or so I am going to put together a grievance and the bully on line website should help. So thanks for that.

Sorry you had to go through it too - its really harsh and affects everything in your life.

I dont think I will be the same again, as I was before I joined this company. I am still waiting on my clinical psychologist appointment I am hoping that will help!!

As I am feeling a bit better was thinking of preparing my grievance letter to my employer. What do you think of the format? Should it be against my boss or employer due to the systematic bullying I have suffered???

How would you prepare it - ie a dossier spanning my whole time in the company???

I promise if It gets too stressful as I am doing it I will leave it be.

    Thanks

Your grievance is with your employer. A Company is liable for the actions of it's managers.

You could use post #18 and add something like:

These incidents are part of a pattern of bullying that I have been subjected to by ? while working for ?.
I have a dossier of occurances which I would prefer to present at a formal grievance hearing.

I would appreciate at least a weeks notice of the date of the hearing.
