i'd have thought you could read between the lines a touch there. If anybody here actually thinks that a dispute between them and Vodafone was less important than say the conflict in the Middle East, wars in Iraq of Afghanistan, or tension between China and Tibet then any sane person would suggest that they should reassess how they decide what's important.
.
Well I dont see anyone giving up on their dispute with Vodaphone and standing outside the House's of Parliament with raised banners.
So I would assume that answers your question0 -

It mentions minutes, texts and unlimited internet, but not the 1GB cap, and also states that I can contact the network to set up additional bundles. I'd view this that the unlimited internet is part of the contract and I can choose another booster say unlimited landlines. When I contacted them to port my number they weren't committal on it, but said with a smart phone don't remove the unlimited internet booster. I don't think they know exactly! Still happy enough with 1GB if I want to challenge them I'll look at their site and question it.
Having had a shifty through the T-Mob website at the time I was looking, I believe they implement a 3GB FUP for Android handsets (standard 1GB otherwise) when you buy direct from T-Mob. The added incentive to buy direct from T-Mob is that some of their packages include the Internet booster free of charge, so your standard choice of booster remains in tact. 3rd party vendors, in order to sell a deal with internet included, have to use the available booster option for internet, hence charging the standard £5/month for any additional boosters.0 -

Going off topic here (or rather remaining off topic) i recently took out a contract with T-mobile via mobilephonesdirect and found out afterwards that the 'unlimited internet' was via the 'flexible booster'.
I contracted MPD and complained about this and was ready to send the handset back under distance selling regs.
I gave T-Mobile a call and explained i had purchased the Desire on a T-Mobile contract so should have the internet included as standard, which they agreed to, once they did that i then pointed out that it was an Android handset so i should be on the 3gb package, which again they agreed with and that i could use my flexible booster for 'unlimited landline calls'
They were really helpfull, the exact opposite of Vodafone, so the minute my Vodafone contract is cancelled they will be the first port of call....TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
I got an email this morning informing me that my new is available online. I've gone to check it, and despite all the time spent on the telephone, and back and forth via email it seems that all the promises that my bill was now corrected and would be £35 a month with a retentions discount meaning that before any additional charges it would be £17.50
It's not, despite promises and assurances from Amanda at the Vodafone Directors Office i'm not really sure what they expect me to think.
Still no word back from Tom but it is only Tuesday so he deserves the benefit of the doubt, but i am gobsmacked that Vodafone Customer Services can continue to be so unreliable.0 -
Is there a new cancellation letter template? or can someone point me to the old one?
Also how do you go about working out how much to make the cheque out for? Or can you do it without sending the cheque and just leave the direct debit open for the time being?TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -

Have you looked at the other MSE thread? I posted a cancellation letter in there and they cashed the cheque that was in it...
It also show's calculations for paying the remainder of your bill...
