Hello,
£5 for 500MB applies to anyone who has an inclusive allowance of data, be that part of your price plan or a £5 or £7.50 add-on, no matter when you purchased it.
The 50p for 10MB applies to those who don't have a data allowance and instead use our Daily Rate service.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Timbo_UK,
I've edited it to the correct one, apologies for the confusion, it should be 7a.
As for when, at least 14 days before as per the message above.
Thanks,
Tom

I get the feeling I will be leaving Vodafone and going on a Sim-only contract and porting my number over.....Bloody idiots....when I get a letter I will be cancelling as it means I can't use a smartphone that has internet-enabled all the time without being penalised.** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

So are we going to receive a text informing us of the changes?0
-
This is still disgusting - so you can cancel but only if you routinely went over the limit? I never used more than 500mb a month because I didn't have a HTC Desire. I now have a HTC Desire, and I'll obviously be using far more data, but I'm stuck with this change in terms and conditions?
How is past usage an accurate reflection of future intention?0 -
Well you never know, you could argue that this months usage should be included in that assessment as they havent formally anounced any changes to peoples terms and conditions.0
-
I though because they changed the T&C, and they are not the same as the ones you agreed on the first place you have the right to cancel the contract as is not fit to your purposes anymore.
Does anybody knows more about this?0 -
Ok,
I have agreed (confirmed with vodafone this morning) that the deal I have agreed with them is for 500mb, if I use more than that I will be charged 50p/25mb/day, above that it is £2/mb. That is the deal that I agreed too on taking out the upgrade contract, and I am happy to accept that contract for the period of 18 months. However I am not happy if they decide to cahange the terms of the agreement with such short notice.
The point is,
Vodafone are saying that you can only cancel if your overall costs will increase by over 10% based on your last months usage.
We have not had the contracts / devices for one month yet, so I cannot see that our last months usage can be taken into account.
I may have missed the point here but that sums it up for me, how can you look at someones data usage on a (in theory) nokia 3210i and then compare it to a new contract (that includes mobile internet) on oneof the latest smartphones?
As I said at the start, I am happy with the package that I agreed to and have gone out of my way to confinm, but I will be seriously pixxed if that is now changed.

I'm in the same boat as jondavy.
Can anyone on the £15pm, 600 min 24 month twitter deal tell me how much the contract price is listed as on the online "my account"? It's down as £21.28 for me:think:0 -
As I stated in my previous post,
Vodafone are saying that you can only cancel if your overall costs will increase by over 10% based on your last months usage.
We have not had the contracts / devices for one month yet, so I cannot see that our last months usage can be taken into account.
I think that this may be the important point that they have missed.
