I wonder if MSE Martin would take this up on everyone's behalf? Surely it's worth a mention on his programmes?0

The story is on coolsmartphone.com. That's a good start for a bit of publicity.0

Good grief, what a nightmare. I sell Vodafone through CPW and we were told it's a hard cap, god knows why there's so much confusion from Voda staff. I will definitely be keeping my eye on this thread.Have I helped? Feel free to click the 'Thanks' button. I like to feel useful (and smug).0

because it never used to be a hard cap, as i said - i've been a customer for years and have always been told it's just FUP and breaching it will result in a message off them saying "oi!"0 -

Well I hope it's worth it Vodafone...interestingly they had time to give this official message to the Recombo website
In June we'll be introducing a free text service to tell our contract customers when they're approaching the upper limit of their data bundle. We'll send them a text before they reach the limit and tell them how much it will cost them to use more data. Customers can then make a decision on whether to continue, or limit their use, giving them total control of their spend.
Handheld bundles range between 500MB and 1GB. 500MB means you can read and reply to 10,000 emails, download 24 Google maps and read 8,000 BBC News stories. Today, a tiny fraction of our customers use their full allowance. If customers do find that they’re approaching the end of their bundle the costs are as follows:0 -
And it still doesn't clarify if pay monthly customers with unlimited internet have 'no handheld data bundle' or a 'handheld data bundle'!
What charges do pay monthly customers with unlimited internet face of these two options???0
