HTC Desire Vodafone 500mb Fair Usage Policy

As you may remember I was one of the few to escape early on, having received my PAC code at the start of this month and I am now happily a 3 customer, enjoying 2Gb internet for a fiver per month.
My final bill arrived today which was for just over half a months' usage and it was all billed correctly. My online billing had been cancelled the day I used my PAC so I could not log on, Voda sent me a paper bill instead. The front of the bill is expected, referring to the internet as 'Mobile Internet' and nothing more. On the back of the bill however, second column in on the top row:
Unlimited* Internet and Email On Your Mobile. <Blah blah blah promoting it snip> *500mb fair use policy.
NO mention of a hard cap, the only suggestion you may incur additional other fees is if you are roaming. So to this day they are still promoting unlimited internet on the very bills they are sending out.
1 October is now days away and I have heard the internal staff rumours 1/10 is slated to be 'cancellation day' internally. Remember how Vodafone did all this on the sly hoping no-one notices? I just thought wouldn't it be funny if the night before, 30/9, some really big publicity happened so all Voda's customers saw what was going on and it would be mayhem the next day.
Then I remembered what day 30/9 is. Thursday. What night is Watchdog broadcast on? I may be very wide of the mark, but just imagine the smile on our faces if they did cover this the very eve of cancellation day.0 -

I always download a fullly itemised PDF of my bills but normally never look at the stuff on the "back" - had a look at the one from September and yep, it's there too!Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
Since I am so so bad at this, could someone kindly post a termination notice letter here, so I could rush it off tomorrow morning.... Many thanks..SAY NO TO INJUSTICE !

Watchdog covering it would be too funny to be true. And would also be very very satisfactory! I doubt they will cover it - would be too much of a coincidence, but fingers crossed!0 -
Watchdog featuring it would be truly epic.
And I too would love a template letter to send off tomorrow by special delivery, then I can call up thursday and hopefully speak to the mirage that is 'Andrew' and get a Desire HD deal. I am not fussed about cancelling if I can get the HD. If they dont offer me it, ill cancel and get it on whatever network is cheapest, even if that is vodafone.0 -

i asked him about the Desrie HD this evening but he couldn't offer it as they don't have a price as yet.The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits0 -

I have already emailed the termination notice to various Vodafone corporate addresses.
Now what address shall I post this printed letter to?
EDIT: Is this the correct address then:
Vodafone Limited
The Connection

Yep, that's the address I used on my letter.
Speaking of letters, I received a letter from Vodafone this morning saying sorry I was thinking of leaving and was there anything they could do to change my mind. If not, then they'd disconnect me as requested on (date was left blank!). Err, hello Vodafone. I've already stated categorically to you that I will NEVER be a Vodafone customer again, and my PAC was activated two weeks ago, so you know I've already left and that my number has been disconnected...
Can't wait for my final bill so I'm finally rid of these cowboys. It should be for the grand total of £0.00, seeing as I left well before my next billing date, but what's the betting they slap some sneaky charges in there... Am still suspecting that they'll charge me an EFT as well...0 -
I am really concerned about this.
I routinely use over 500mb - I average 800-1200mb a month.
However I've not received any communication from Vodafone whatsoever. Nothing at all.
This could be because between 1st September and 19th September I was in the USA and used no data at all, so the first time in ages I didn't go over the limit.
What can I do if they've not even informed me of any changes? Should I just continue as I am until such time that they inform me of changes which detriment me, after which I can presumably cancel?
The talk of the 1st October deadline is worrying - but theyve not said anything to me!0
