Just waiting for web team response after selecting a 'better tariff' only to be told I'd have to pay more because someone had 'typed it in wrong'. I've told them that I now want to stay on the 500MB tariff (due to the fact they'll warn us if I accidentally go over) but now they're saying they'll charge people straight off ANYWAY.... They just really have no clue or training there ;(---reech!

I was looking at potentially being able to cancel with the extra charges, though on my latest bill, when they added my Vodafone Passport last month they changed my contract from 24 months to 18 months it appears. So now I think I may stay quiet and see how it goes as I only occasionally go over the 500mb. Choices choices0

You need a registry editor and change the following (from the excellent XDA-Developers site - HD2 hints & tips thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=583638 ) For any HTC handsets, XDA-devs is the best
36. Get BBC iPlayer Mobile Website Working on HD2
The current Opera 9.7 version on the HD2 is not detected by the BBC iplayer website. Here is a modifcation to Opera preferences you can do to get it to work.
HKLM/Software/Opera/Prefs/User Prefs/Custom User-Agent
Change from HTC_HD2_T8585 Opera/9.7 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en) to HTC_Touch_HD_T8282 Now go to http://bbc.co.uk/mobile/iplayer. Videos are opened in your Streaming App on your phone. Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
YouTube uses plenty. I personally watch Diggnation on it, 40-60minute long podcasts, along with various instruction videos for various topics.0

The only thing I still dont' understand... is how is this introduction of charges not a change in T&C ? If they change my T&C and I refuse to it, how is it possible that my OVERALL bill needs to go up by 10%??? And what if someone goes on holiday and makes a lot of calls one month, the next month they are at home, making normal amount of calls, but then get charged a fiver for the data. The bill would still be less than the previous month but they wouldn't be able to cancel? Does this mean, the month after they would? Doesn't really make sense.0

I've had a reply from Karen (vodafone directors office), she tried calling on Friday but i refused the calls as i want records of all my communications with Vodafone from now on.
So if anyone has any questions stick them on here and i'll put them in the email i'm sending later. - i'll put any reply up on here in full.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0
