Thank you all so much for your lovely messages, I'm really touched! Of course you can all be DFW Aunties and Uncles (but I wont make you buy christening presents - we ARE all Debt-Free Wannabees after all lol).

Mrs Sparkle - You're a bit ahead of me (I'm only about 3 weeks I think), so I'll probably be pestering you the whole way through asking for advice!! But congrats on your own little DFW.

Jeanghost - yes, Grandparents live fairly nearby and they are pretty good at buying bits and pieces for us - and not bad for babysitting duty either, not that we really go out much . Well done on being completely debt free too.


Miss Penny Pincher - I know, I've given up alcohol (alledgedly) - I will probably allow myself the odd glass of white wine and soda, but as I'm a bit of an all or nothing person, I find it easier to just have none at all than just one. What have I let myself in for!!!

keatergreyhound - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you - I'm the 6th person this year to get pregnant in the department where I work, so I think they're putting something in the water!! If it doesn't happen soon, I'll let you know where I work and you should apply for a job there! Seriously, good luck and I hope it happens for you soon xx

Gemmzie - Umm, next steps - I think the first thing I need to do is have a good look through all the stuff in the loft and make a list of the baby things I already own (already have 5 yr old son - well, 6 tomorrow), and then make a list of what I still need and work out the cheapest way to aquire them!

To everyone else who I havent mentioned, thank you so much for your congratulations, best wishes and money saving tips - I'm taking note of all of them and I'll be relying on this site to keep me on the rails! Feel free to give me a (fairly gentle) kick up the backside if I seem to be spending too much money!
