  • Woo hoo! That's great news!

    Definitely not PMT then!!!!

And I wouldn't have been able to wait either - it would have been Asda for me!

No, the PMT symptoms had me fooled for a few days, but the longer it went on, the more I thought 'Ooooh, what if.......'. So I spent a few quid on a twin pack of tests from Asda (thought it would be negative to be honest so I was planning ahead for next month lol), and there were two very distinct, dusky pink lines after about 20 seconds, which got even more noticeable by the time the test was finished. I had the result in my hand before I'd even made it off the loo (hubby was crouching down on the bathroom floor to hug me - what a touching scene hahaha!).

    Congrats! :j :j

So, what's the next step of the plan to keep him/her in a DFW household?

    Congratulations Snagglepuss! Fantastic news.

I'm 4 months pregnant so I'll keep you company in your DFW baby growing.

My own tips are: join the Boots parenting club now- they'll send you a booklet full of lovely vouchers for free pampering stuff for YOU not baby. And put "maternity bundle" into the search on eBay and loads of bundles of maternity clothes will come up. They're so expensive to buy new that it's worth investing in a bundle- I paid £30 for about 10 items.

  • To Snagglepuss great to hear your news.

I am a grandmother of a 2 year old girl who is very lively.

Hope you have grandparents to help you out, I am always buying my grandaughter clothes and toys.

Yes we are debt free including mortgage paid off, which is a nice feeling.

Look forward to keeping up with your news.
  • wow you must be sooooo happy!!!!

Really enjoying your thread! Looking forward to hearing more!

I'm considering having a DFW baby to in a year or 2 although I'm really broody at the moment!

I guess the positive result will be a big incentive to help stick to the low alcohol :D
