Ooh, nearly forgot - I've uploaded my latest scan picture - the link is here if you would like to have a look.

It sort of looks like she only has half a leg but I'm assured she has two perfectly normal legs really lol!

Thanks for that - I loved it! Such a clear picture! :T

I think I'll stay away from you pregnant ladies for a bit. I confess: I am 30 and I can hear a vague clock ticking!!!  :rotfl:

Oh dear Moozie! I'll stop going on about babies for a bit then! A couple of years after I had DS, my Mother-In-Law used to make endless comments about my biological clock ticking, and asking when I would have another. In the end I had to beg hubby to tell her to stop it! I had bad SPD (dodgy joints in pelvic area) and couldn't walk at all for quite a while after giving birth last time (I couldn't even get into a lying down position because I was so out-of-alignment, and the pain was so bad, so spent several weeks sleeping sitting up in an armchair, with DS next to me in a moses basket - sorry if I've already said all this, but I was feeling too lazy to check back through my posts :)) - so I wasn't in a hurry to repeat the experience!

Lol, sorry, sorry, very sorry to all those who are getting too clucky! I know exactly how you feel, I've done the 'staring longingly at cute babies in supermarkets' and the 'offering your babysitting services out to all and sundry' stuff too. The weird thing was, until I had DS, I was so un-maternal! I had to ask the nurse at the hospital how to put a nappy on, because I genuinely had no idea! I keep saying this will be my last baby, but fast forward 3 or 4 years, and I can see myself getting broody again! Oh dear :D

He he...give me a day when I come across whinging babies and kids all day....I'll soon get over the 'baby phase'

33 next birthday..it's ironic really...spent the last 16/17 years ensuring that I wouldn't get preggers....and then for the last 6/9 months wondering when things would get back to normal so that i know when I can start tryng again? been on depot since '99 .....stopped it May 06....nothing happened since???

DD was my last baby, Snaggles. One girl, one boy, that's enough for anyone or so I said. So why 8 years later are we trying to do it all again??

What a lovely pic, Snaggles - really clear.
Due end of May? Lovely time for a baby ( esp if washing nappies :D )
Have fun and enjoy the pregnancy

Yes, whinging kids are a bit off-putting, although your own are of course always little angels! I'll bring my 6 year old round when he's having an off-day if you like - that's sure to put you off! :D

Chocaholic - it took me 6 years to decide to have another, and I'm not sure at all that I like being pregnant (apart from people making a fuss of you, which is sort of nice :)), but even as I'm saying 'never again' to people, there's a little voice at the back of my head saying 'are you sure? are you really sure???'.

Hubby is quite set on two kids though, and has even mentioned having the snip after DD is born, so I think this really will be the last.....probably....:o

Thanks Terri, yes I was really surprised at how clear it was, I don't really remember the scans I had with my first, but I'm fairly sure I didn't see as much detail. When we were there, the....um...nurse (I know there's a proper word, but I can't remember it) took lots of time to show us everything, and the baby kept yawning theatrically at every opportunity! She even put her hand over her mouth at one point, so she's going to be sooo well mannered hehehe.

Aha! Sonographer, that was the word I was looking for!
