Oooh, I forgot to say as well, the reason my baby fund has suddenly shot up is that we had a campaign at work where if you recommended someone to work there, and they got the job, and then stayed in the job for a certain period of time, you got £250 - I recommended someone a while ago, and have just got my £250 - hurray!! So even though I spent to much the other day, I have still saved more than I've spent, so the baby has cost nothing so far! (Reckon I'll still be saying that in 2 years time??? :D :rotfl:)

Thanks, I feel really overwhelmed when I look at it. It's my second baby, so I thought I'd be a bit more casual about it this time, but it just blew me away. I hadn't even heard the heartbeat before, even at my midwife appointment, so I think that's why I was so touched. They couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl though because it had the cord lying between its legs, covering the vital area lol! I've got another scan in January, so I might be able to find out then though.

Pretty sure we found out the sex at the 2nd scans with our two. Do you have a preference? Probably sounds really awful but I'd convinced myself DD2 was a boy so when the sonographer said she was a girl I burst into tears! :o I think its just as well we found out and didn't wait until the birth!

Thanks, it looks clearer than I expected it to actually (full size it looks very blurry!).

I'm not really bothered whether it's a boy or a girl to be honest. My gut feeling is that it's a girl, which would be lovely as my first is a boy. But then again, if it's a girl, we will have to move house within a couple of years (only have 2 bedrooms), so a girl will be the more expensive option! :)

I just feel as though I would like to know before the birth, as I'm not a big fan of surprises (I always prod my Christmas presents when they are under the tree hee hee!).

PS: Hope you're feeling a bit better Kath - you sound much more upbeat xx

Oh poor you! :o It's such an emotional time though - I just seem to be crying at anything lol!

It was stupid really, everyone kept saying that they betted OH wanted a boy and he was perfectly happy, it was me had my heart set on one of each!

The disappointment lasted all of 5 mins though, what more could I ask for than 2 beautiful, healthy little girls. :)

Yes, as long as they're healthy it doesn't really matter does it. If I have another boy that's fine - I'll never get to dress Barbies again (!) but I'll never have to explain periods either lol! But if it's a girl.....bring on the dolls and the fluffy pink outfits hahaha!

PS: I love your sig - I think I could do with joining your club!

Tee hee, it was due to a thread I started in the arms that went pear shaped, all very silly lol!

Tell you what if you have a little boy you can borrow my two from time to time to play dolls with! ;)
