Why would you want rid of something lovely? I want my nice stuff to last forever (and the bad stuff to be used up now obviously, lol).

I think because I'm new to this challenge so still relishing being able to post use-ups :D

Got rid of a pot of Botanics conditioner today - gave it to a friend who's always skint.

    Hi everybody
Just popping in to report some use ups
x2 maxfactor pressed powders-WIBA yes as it's an everyday essential and I've packed my spare in my hospital bag so will need to buy another.
Bio oil-WIBA-No as I have a spare bottle which I will use after baby arrives .It has done it's job though no stretch marks.
Clinique foaming cleanser-WIBA-No this was a sample from the last gwp and it was nothing special and wasn't much different to a basic superdrug version.

Shadowsfall-I wear eyeliner everyday bollywood style so very dark.I've tried the expensive brands but I would only ever recommend collection 2000 £2.99 version or superdrugs Mua £1 range.I also like urbun decays glide on pencil in black for a softer more smoky smudgey look .hth
    Love can tame the wildest

:) Hi. I had the same problem with the Rimmel eyeliner too. I use the Body Shop one. Have done for years. It' still the best for me - a tad pricey at £8 - but worth it. :)
Am even more tempted to go for the glitch now!

ahh i think it was ok from before (I remember thinking the collection 2000 cheap one was pretty good lol!) but I can't really remember - but saw another body shop suggestion so maybe that would be the safest bet :)

I just thought that I would let you all know that I didn't make the bodyshop order, I went into the store yesterday to smell what I was going to get my friend to see if she would like it and I loved the smell!!! It was the satsuma range, so I was very tempted to get the satsuma body butter or lotion to get free delivery so now i am feeling very pleased with myself :j

Also I have a use up! :) It was the Clarins HydraQuench Lotion with SPF 15 WIBA: no, this was quite moisturing but i was too much like suncream with a very low SPF but it is advertised for use in hot climates and it is quite expensive too, i would rather just use my normal moisturiser with suncream with a high SPF over the top IYSWIM?

I really need to join this thread in June! I have a frightening amount of products - boxes and boxes of them! I did have a sort through a few weeks ago and have donated 2 full boxes to a woman's refuge centre (there would have been much much more had they been willing to accept products with broken seals). I fall for every new product on the market and could spend hours on end in Boots.

I am in the process of moving flat so will hopefully join the new thread in June, much to the relief of my boyfriend who I am moving in with - I'm sure he doesn't relish the thought of his bathroom being taken over by 21 body lotions to give just one example! Sorry for not reading all the posts, but what are the rules? Catalogue what you have? List what you have used up? Admit what you've bought? (oh the shame!)

    Two use ups today, goodness!!!

    1. Botanics mini Quench body lotion - will put £1 in my savings pot. WIBA: no, too thin and watery so didn't live up to its name!

    2. Soap & Glory Daily Smooth, I got 2 full uses out of it after cutting it open!!! It was part of my hatbox, how much should I put in the pot for it? The full value or a token amount? Anyway, WIBA: YES! It is gorgeous in consistency and smell. Dreamy! :A

Hi ACCA Girl, there are really no rules, you can just join in anytime, no need to wait till the start of a month (unless you need a couple of weeks to preapre mentally lol). You can list your stash (and even post pics!) if you feel like it, some of us and some of us (me included) aren't brave enough for that! :o I (and some others) put money in a separate savings pot every time I use something up, just to let me see how much I'm using and how much I'm saving by NOT replacing it till I finish my stash (although there have been a few Body Shop slip-ups in my case, ahem). Welcome to the challenge. :)

Afternoon :wave:I recived the last of my 3 body shop orders today:o Good news is that the cheap items were OOS on one of them but i still got the 2 expensive items for free. I can reduce the toiletry spend in my signature to £7.60 and feel much less guilty now:D

I started using the aloe spf moisturiser on Friday and I'm really liking it. My skin has broken out in angry spots again recently and I definitely feel that this has a nice soothing effect on them. I use the deodorant from this range as well which I highly recommend, leaves you with a lovely clean feeling and no messy/sticky feeling that you can get when applying some other roll ons. The only down side is that it is unscented. I also have a dove green tea and cucumber roll on on the go, lovely scent with this one but it feels much more messy when applied IYSWIM and I don't like that. My perfect deodorant ever was Bliss underarmy but they have now discontinued it:( It had the most gorgeous clean minty smell and I loved wearing it. When I run out of my current stash I will probably buy the BS one again, unless I get back to the US first to stock up again on the almay roll on (my second ever favourite).
I've started using the Body Shop Aloe deodorant too, and so far really like it. It's weird having to wonder about without clothes on while it dries, but so far mostly works well. I like the fact it doesn't have a scent, as I can then use whichever perfume I want without fear that perfume and deodorant will clash :)

I think I might have heard about the deo on this thread. I bought it with the Telegraph vouchers recently :o

    Hi girls!

Thank you for all your kind comments; you are all such lovely ladies:happylove

Have blocked out Saturday's misfortunes, paid up asap and put the day behind me now! C'est la vie!

Rosemary, what a shame about the weather. No matter how brave a face we put on, it is a disappointment not to get decent weather, especially after the pooh weather we've had to put up with since the end of last summer. Glad you slotted in a bit of pampering too!

A few use-ups. 2 perfumes have spluttered their last! Both I've had for ages. (more than 5 years I reckon!) Gucci Envy (love it still) and a DKNY Woman, which I stopped wearing for a while as I seemed to smell it on everyone. However, restarted and I am quite fond of it too. Haven't bought any perfume for ages as have been trying to use up lots of part-used bottles. Will be investing in a holiday fragrance at the airport this weekend. Not sure what yet though!

Also finished a Bio Oil. Had it for a bit, don't know that I'll be bothering to replace atm. LOL, forgot to tell you last week I was walking round with a very embarassing red mark on the front of my neck.....looked like the sort of mark I used to wear polo necks to conceal from my mother when I was 16!! Actually it was a burn from rushing while I was using the curling tongs on the ends of my hair and being in a rush had rashly turned them up to 200 degrees  Anyway, tried the Bio Oil on it, but not much difference, then on day 3 put a smear of the BS hemp hand protector on at bedtime. Miraculous. Totally healed and all the redness had disappeared by the next morning and it had really faded. It does contain lots of good stuff that cream, so will be experimenting again on the next injury!

Who said the N0 7 Blissful Bodywash is good? Glad to hear it but the packaging is soooo dull! Will take it on hols then along with a 55ml Dove sample.

Couple of my Revlon lip glosses are coming to an end, so back to TJ's last Saturday and got 2 Bourjois de Eau Gloss, one orangey and one pinky for £1 each. Anyone used them? The colour is quite good, but they feel very light on your lips, when you're used to a heavier gloss. WIBA? They're OK and I'll use them up but I think they feel too light, (they're supposed to be non-tacky)

    Better stop wittering!
