Oh Bronnie, (((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) :( What a terrible day! I feel for you. I once got a parking ticket after nipping into a shop for 3 MINUTES, despite the fact that (a) I was only parked on 1ft of the double yellow lines (b) I was on a side street, hindering nobody and (c) a few feet away was a main road where motorists regularly park during off-limits periods and block rush hour traffic!!! Grr.

Finished a GWP size Protect and Perfect Night Cream - I know such a small use up doesn't deserve a post of its own, but I'm hard up for progress right now!

Thought it was very nice, and will buy it in the future, though I expected to hate it.

Every little use up counts Sophy!! :T

I have used up a BS cucumber water so will be putting £3.99 in the pot (although I didn't pay that much, no doubt got it as part of a glitch lol). WIBA: Yes, and already have half a dozen more in my stash!!! :o

Argh bronnie, what a carp day. I hope you have a better day tomorrow. Why is it that someone sometimes decides to throw a whole bucketload of sh1te on your day? It's like the gods conspiring against you. Yet other days you can do no wrong?
I'm shattered but DH said I had to wait for the fire to die down before I went to bed. I think it's dead enough for me to go now. Then I get to get up in the morning and light it again. If I'd had my way, I'd have just banked it up for the night and then poked it in the morning to get it going. He's entitled to his foibles though as he has worked blimmin hard today. We're both shattered. My arms ache so much that my hand keeps shaking when I'm trying to use the finger pad on the lappy!
:D:D:D we're off out for tea tomorrow after a hard mornings work. I may have been naughty too and have bid on a 200ml blissful bodywash (No7) on ebay only £3.29 inc P&P if I get it. I used mine tonight for the first time and whilst washing with it was thinking hmm, smells like dove deo. Washed it off and wow- so soft and creamy and a little goes a loooooooong way.
I have to say (and there's a faint possibility that I'm rambling cause I'm tired) but I do think that the person who invented scrubbies should be knighted as they reduce waste of toiletries so much. So I tip my cap to you the inventor of the humble scrubby. Night night Ladies and Gent :D

    morning all,

felt all virtuous :Athat I avoided the body shop offers only to nip to Sainsburys to buy some of the lovely Champneys miracle body butter and walk out with 2 bath products too! in fairness one is a lovely spa bubble bath and the other one has nearly run out. the other is a relax bubble bath, really gorgeous aromatherapy smells. which as me = stressed, I saw as an investment.;)

also a dove roll on (dove deo spray nearly run out and didnt want to pay nearly £3 for an aerosol!).

not great but all will be used, probably within the next month. must put some slap on today as I didn't yesterday and when i was out and about and I swear people treated me a bit differently (indifferently? felt people were a little off/judgemental). normally i look quite polished. so you know all this slap can make for a better day!

right enough waffle, happy pampering everyone!

A quick update on used up stash:

Body Shop Mango body butter (the freebie one) - WIBA yes. Love the smell and it absorbs well.

Lee Stafford hair treament, growth or something (in a pink pot) - WIBA no. Smells funny, like a strong perfume. Looks weird, a grey mush. Plus you use it in between shampoo and conditioner. So a bit of a faff.

Off to wash my make up brushes with some unloved shampoo.:j

    Just a pseudo-spend to report....
OH gave me another £5 No 7 voucher and went shopping with mum yesterday and got the No 7 Body Scrub (£8.50 ish) for £3.50 which mum promptly paid for, bless her!
So a free body scrub - bum and thighs desperately need it - will have a good going over in the bath tonight!

No other use ups to report - everything still going strong.

PS Has anyone used the M&S body butters? They had a tester by the till yesterday and the lemon one smelt absolutely scrummy - they were on a 3 for 2 offer but didn't succumb - may do when the stash runs out though

Oooh, I have that Blissful body wash in my stash, got 3 for £9 last year as part of a glitch, gave 2 away as Christmas and kept one. Can't wait to use it!

Are scrubbies those puffy string things for the shower? I can't get on with them at all.

rosemary, sorry to hear your holiday wasn't as good as planned xo

Forgive me ladies and gentleman, for I have sinned...

I just placed an order at BS with the 50% off coupon. Free delivery despite the fact my order came to £11.49 after discount. :D That is pre-quidco too.

I did say at the beginning of the month that my exception was that I was looking to buy some new toner this month and that's it, but I did get a few extra goodies obviously from the price.

For £11.49 I got: Nutriganics refreshing toner (hope it's good, used up my toner about 7-10 days ago), Body brush round (been interested in getting it for a while), Nail block (don't own a single nail file in the house, so that + buffiness is pretty good) and the carrot moisture cream (I have enough night moisturiser, but I couldn't resist because of the offer and your guys' reviews!) Does anyone use it during the day? I was thinking if it's possible I can just wear it on top of normal sunscreen.

So half of the order wasn't exactly toiletries per se though since I can use the nail block and body brush for years to come, so no need to 'use up'. I have had the medium wooden bristled hair brush from BS for 2 and a half years and have been very happy with it.

Now, my other problem was that at the middle of last month, I ordered samples from Green People and love their Spf 15 Day Solution, it seems to be perfect for my skin. I just looked on the website and it's BOGOF until the end of the month . I'm trying to justify it with the fact that I'm not buying extras of something I need to use up in the first place. Now I'm tempted to get that at the end of the month... Bad girl!

I was doing so well too :rotfl:

((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))) to Bronnie for your carp day and to Rosemary for a holiday which sounds like it was somewhat less than you hoped for. We go away each year knowing that, where we're going, the weather is likely to be mixed, at best, but it's a pain going somewhere specifically because you're hoping for nice weather and then not to get it. :(

Who was it said they'd just used up a Boots Spa moisturiser? I have the hand cream from that range on the go at work at the moment - it's scary to think hiow many years it is since they even produced the stuff - seems to last well, at least!
