The only thing I have finished this week is a bottle of Aussie shampoo. I don't actually stockpile shampoos however have got a bottle of Jackie Brown (is that right?) shampoo that I got free with a magazine to start. Very MSE eh? I do love Aussie though so will be purchasing again.
Have today bought a L'Occitane Verbena liquid soap as we have used up the last one and don't have any spares although we do have soap bars but MrM prefers the liquid soap. There was 10% off today though.
Have also acquired a new OPI lacquer today but this was a swap via makeupalley. So again MSE.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

A couple of days ago I received an email from Debenhams to say that one of my £5 beauty reward voucher is due to expire so I went in to town today to see what I can buy for that. I had planned to buy Clarins Pure melt cleansing gel which is lovely to use because it doesn't dry out my skin at all. Instead I came out with a set which included a smaller version of the cleanser and body scrub, beauty flash balm and their satin smooth body lotion which is the best body lotion I have ever used. The set cost £20 minus my voucher, so I got it for £15. Well pleased with that since I am running low on body lotion and cleanser. SA also gave 2 samples of perfume as a treat.
Off to have a take away with friends tonight. Mmmm, I love Indian food.
Enjoy your Saturday night. No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

Its James Brown:) I got the intensive conditioner freebie with the mag and really like it, bit of an odd smell though.
shandyclover, I didn't even know Dunnes did a skincare range, must pop in for a nosey sometime.
I'm another fan of Smiley perfume, in fact I just finished my bottle shortly after xmas. I bought it in a Boots that never actually stocked it until one day it appeared on the clearance shelf for £5. I'd always looked at it in a bigger Boots and was never tempted because of the price. Since buying it and discovering I liked it though I've never seen it in a Boots again:(
fairydust thanks so much for posting your list, I love seeing what other people have:D:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

:rotfl:Thanks for that. I thought it was James Brown at first but then dismissed that thinking it couldn't be named after the King of Soul.
Forgot to mention that I am awaiting a free Boots voucher at the moment for completing a survey so can't wait to spend that. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Thats okay I think that its helped me realise how much I have and how much I don't need to buy anything toiletry wise for myself for a long time! :rotfl:No buying toiletries challenge - Started 10th May 20100 -
Having the list of products has really helped me as I am constantly tempted by all the fake tan displays in the shops but my list reminds me I still have 10 to use up!
I was also sorely tempted by the lancome gift in debenhams but managed to avoid setting foot in the shop. Feeling very virtuous now lol.
I am slowly using things up and one day, a few years from now I will have no stash - fabulous! If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
Yay, I have two use ups to report! Finally finished up a ted baker shower gel. WIBA?: Very possibly. Nice and moisturising and it lasted a good few months. Also used up a boots spa moisturiser. WIBA?: Probably not. It went on nicely but I wasn't that keen on the smell.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0

Please permit me a rant girls!
I quote the above because sometimes I wonder what it's all about.
Scraping out the end of tubes, searching for deals and using up stuff you loathe.....then you have the day from hell I've had and just wonder WHY??
Had a TOTM week this week, although TOTM hasn't actually happened (age thing!) despite using every trick google could throw up (and that's another story completely!!) to try and induce it before my holiday next Sat. Have had a very hormonal week and haven't been my usual on-the-ball self.
Anyway, this morning headed off to town to pick up an order from Next. Coming off the motorway, got stopped for speeding on the motorway slip road doing 45 in a 40 zone. OK my fault, 3 points and a £60 fine. Rather upset and jittery, got to town and parked . Order hadn't arrived instore after all. Finished my shopping and as I went back to the car realised that in my hormonal jittery state, I'd forgotten to pay for parking (usually park in a pay-on-exit car park) and when I got to the car there was a massive big ticket slapped on the windscreen!
So for an hour and a half shopping trip, that's the best part of £100 in fines, which is the amount I have in my paypal account for buying holiday euros after ebaying tons of 99p stuff over the last month.
My fault. Not looking for sympathy and luckily my circumstances are such that I am OK financially, but sometimes doesn't life just make you :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Thanks for listening0
