So sorry for the troubles that have hit some of our thread-ladies - hope things get better asap!
Finished a Pro-V conditioner and a Botanics body butter today. Would be celebrating, but I still have another Botanics bb to get through....0 -
So I had a lovely soak in the bath and got out. Cracked open my new Ted Baker body lotion and squirted a load into my hand.:eek::eek: It's dark brown and shiny . Now I thought I ought to be open minded as the boots spa one is green and didn't turn me green. Soooooo, I took a deep breath and applied it. I now look like an oompah loompah who's been to a tanning studio. I'll have to figure out a way to use it up but not by going orange :rotfl:. I feel orange feet coming on guys....It might be ok once it soaks in??
Oh Sophy - having just finished one, having another BB from the botanics range would be my worst beauty nightmare.... HUGE sympathy !!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Have just finished a Primark pineapple body butter so will put £1 in the savings pot and amend my sig. WIBA? Strangely, it has grown on me! It has a nice consistency and smell and sinks in well. I probably would buy it if I ever came to the end of my stash and was skint - for £1 it is very good, but the BS ones are better and I never pay full price for them as there is practically a weekly glitch at this stage. :rotfl:

Had a use up tonight. Dove Go Fresh Burst Body Wash (nectarine and white ginger). WIBA? Maybe. Mother bought it when she came over to visit at Christmas. It's not really my thing as I prefer natural/organic stuffs, but it was pretty nice. Smells great without being overpowering and was fairly nice on my dry skin.March win: Fair Squared organic spa skincare set

Morning,
No use ups yet. I sorted through my make up again last night, which is good to make you remember what you have. I felt a bit down about it. I have products which are not brilliant. I may use one or two of them today and if still rubbish pass to a friend to see if they have any more luck.
All this talk about the Body Shop carrot cream is getting me seriously tempted. But I have loads of tubes/pots of moisturiser still left. I'm going to put them all into the same drawer where I keep stuff I use daily, just to remind me!
And for those being tempted to buy stuff just for the sake of it (mmm should we allow serious MSE glitches to be ok?), I read a really good idea on another thread. A woman printed a picture of her ideal home, kept it next to her cards and so any time we was tempted by anything unnecessary she read the words she scribbled on it...do you really need this (eg toiletries) or really want this (gorgeous house/debt gone). :ADeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Hi all.
Bronnie! Oh my. Hope you've had a lovely weekend to make up for the hideousness of traffic wardens (grrrr) and being 1% over the speeding limit (they allow 10% so you had you been doing 44mph... GRR!)
Wow. I never use the red (non)smiley!
Well done on the UUs and good finds... even the naughty BS glitch ladies! I know I was tempted... I actually can't spend anything so that helps me avoid the naughty spotThanks for the list posting too FairyDust.
Mineallmine, I shall be 'doing my make up' tonight. Jeez. Even with the chuck out I conducted before I moved house, there's still quite a bit! Asked OH if he thought I had too much make up... "um, yes. Far too much for what you need, you're beautiful without any." He got a big kiss for that! What an encouragement to spend £0 on anything else.
I am going to a Rockabilly themed party in July and will be doing a Dita Von Teese make up job. Can anyone recommend a brill liquid eye liner that stays on and is easy to appy? Price is less of an issue coz OH may be a true gent and step in and lay his cloak over my no-money puddle.0 -
Sorry for all the badness that's been happening with speeding tickets and bad holidays etc
A use up to report (I hope - bottle is turned upside down so who knows what will come out of it tomorrow!) - Boots Essentials Pro-V conditioner. WIBA? Maybe, I'm not keen on the shampoo but the conditioner seems ok. Bought it when it was 79p and there were 50 points on it so if there was another offer like that then maybe!
Clean, Girls S&G shower gel is still going strong - just want rid of it now even though it's lovely! My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Ohh Bronnie that sounds horrendous hope you feel better soon, and I hope all the bad luck has just come in one batch so you have plenty of days/weeks ahead full of good luck
. Hugs to everyone who needs them!

Unfortunately no use ups here, my sister has opened up 3 conditioners whilst I was away the weekend  so my wannabe minimalistesque bathroom will have to wait! All the use ups of opened bottles in the bathroom have been for nothing! Ahhh, I could hide the open ones on her but I know she will just open up others...:o
I'm making a dent in a Leichner (sp) tinted moisturiser (the pot is described as stage make up apparently ). I don't really like it, I got it when my skin was dry as it's very greasy/moisturising (IYSWIM) as you can feel it all day - which is why I don't like it! It almost leaves a film on your skin but does the job. Can't deny it is a lovely shade and is one to use I think on days that my skin needs a bit of TLC so I might put it back in the cupboard and attempt to use up one of my other foundations
The mascaras are still going strong, I'm back to a black boujouis one which I really like now, (pump the volume i think it's called) very nice for the day time - makes lashes really long but not quite sure that the volume is pumped up!! So it looks quite natural.
To all my fellow BS glitchees - does anyone find that the lotions in the pump bottles seem to diminish rather quickly?! all good from my stash minimising perspectivebut body butters seems to last longer?
anyways sorry for my long post seeing as i had no use ups to reporthave a good day girlies (and the mysterious vanishing guy
) x
