Cheers Roshy - I've tried the Rimmel black liquid eye liner and found it cracks after applying. I'm not sure how to stop this... I'd assume the collection 2000 one would do this too or does it behave? I don't mind splashing out on a more expensive product if it stays in place, I wonder what Dita uses... :D It's prolly made from caviar and gold!

Hi. I had the same problem with the Rimmel eyeliner too. I use the Body Shop one. Have done for years. It' still the best for me - a tad pricey at £8 - but worth it. :)

ahh i think it was ok from before (I remember thinking the collection 2000 cheap one was pretty good lol!) but I can't really remember - but saw another body shop suggestion so maybe that would be the safest bet :)

Oh Sophy - having just finished one, having another BB from the botanics range would be my worst beauty nightmare.... HUGE sympathy !!

Thank you so much (and well done on finishing yours :T) - they really seem to last forever, don't they?! I put the last one out to use at once - I wanted to weaken and use one of the moisturisers from the Christmas perfume gift sets that I've accumulated for a welcome change, but I knew I wouldn't really enjoy it with the knowledge that the final Botanics BB was lurking in the stash :( Once I've used it up, I'll never buy it again.

I've used up a 30ml sample of Cliniqque Superdefense Antioxidant Moisturiser (at least, I think that was the name as I lost the tube), which was pretty good: it made a good base for foundation, but I am slightly suspicious that is doesn't penetrate the skin too deeply. WIBA? Maybe. Not at the minute, though.

Bronnie hope your weekend perked up after the day from hell.

Rosemary welcome back, hope your feeling better.

Urban Retreat serum finished WIBA yes it was lovely, my skin felt soft & hydrated.

I have no more serum in my stash so have ordered a handmade serum from a seller on Ebay.

The pump on my eye cream has packed up, so will have to decant into another container.

Used up a 50ml wash from Dove was a freebie.

    Confession time :o

Caved in & ordered the Smashbox TSV from QVC, the 3 easy pays swung it for me. :o

I have also ordered the Sweet lemon set from the BS half price & the clutch bag, this set is to go in a gift basket I am making for my aunt & uncle's 40th wedding aniiversary basket, it will be full of all their favourite drinks, sweets, chocolate. cheeses & pickles.

A couple of use ups to report from the weekend, yay!
    • Lush bath bomb – Magic. WIBA? Yes – though have plenty to use up, and hardly ever have baths now. This is my favourite bomb though, leaves skin feeling really moisturised, smells great, and I love the colours.
    • John Frieda Frizz Ease Heat Defeat protective styling spray. WIBA? No – it’s good and does what it’s supposed to, but it’s not a patch on the TIGI spray I was using. This doesn’t last as long, doesn’t spray on so well to coat the hair, and is slightly sticky. It’s a 3-star product rather than a 5-star, so I won’t bother again. I still have a full bottle to use though, as I bought 2 in the Tesco glitch – at least they were cheap!
    • L’Oreal Matte Morphose foundation – sample. WIBA? No – I really liked the feel of this, and it was really easy to apply, leaving a lovely smooth colour on my skin. It didn’t have great coverage though, and what there was didn’t last long, so I think it would only be good for people with flawless skin to start with – mine is pretty good, but I still need some coverage, and this had virtually none.
I’m falling behind with this thread, as I’ve so much to do at the moment, but I am sticking with the challenge, and have so far spent nothing in May, woohoo! Oooh, and I painted my nails last night for the first time in a few weeks. Annoyingly though i've got a small chip already on a thumb nail, boo.

I’ll catch up properly later when I can grab some free time - hope everyone is well :)

Used my No 7 voucher yesterday - Got a sensitive mascara for £6 instead of £11 but got another voucher with purchase!! But I was good - I passed it on to my daughter! The mascara was needed as all mine seem to have run out or dried up all at the same time!
Puts me well over my promised spend for the month again!! I don't think I'm ever going to reach target on this one!

    Hello all!!!!!!!

And for those being tempted to buy stuff just for the sake of it (mmm should we allow serious MSE glitches to be ok?), I read a really good idea on another thread. A woman printed a picture of her ideal home, kept it next to her cards and so any time we was tempted by anything unnecessary she read the words she scribbled on it...do you really need this (eg toiletries) or really want this (gorgeous house/debt gone). :A

    What a fab demotivator!!!!!!!! :T
Mineallmine, I shall be 'doing my make up' tonight. Jeez. Even with the chuck out I conducted before I moved house, there's still quite a bit! Asked OH if he thought I had too much make up... "um, yes. Far too much for what you need, you're beautiful without any." He got a big kiss for that! :p What an encouragement to spend £0 on anything else.

I am going to a Rockabilly themed party in July and will be doing a Dita Von Teese make up job. Can anyone recommend a brill liquid eye liner that stays on and is easy to appy? Price is less of an issue coz OH may be a true gent and step in and lay his cloak over my no-money puddle. :D

Aw, your OH is lovely!!!!!!!!!! :)

Clean, Girls S&G shower gel is still going strong - just want rid of it now even though it's lovely!

Why would you want rid of something lovely? I want my nice stuff to last forever (and the bad stuff to be used up now obviously, lol).
