  • Another vote for brilliant posties. We've had several since we've lived in this house and all have been friendly and do the job properly. It probably helps that we have a nice group of neighbours so if anyone is in and sees the post van we'll pop out and offer to take in a parcel for someone else. Hmm, realise that makes it sound like Stepford wives.... it's just a nice friendly road ;-)

All those with brilliant postmen, do you live in Pencaster or Greendale by any chance??
  • What i don't understand is why? why is it more difficult to knock and give the parcel in?
  • Our usual posties are brilliant but we have one parcel guy who does not knock and throws the parcel over our back gate where either our dog can get it or it gets soaked in the rain. We found a few soggy parcels when we got back from our holiday. I agree how hard is it to knock.

Me too! I don't leave my door open even for 1 minute. I go in and lock it straight behind me.
