Lazy postman couldnt be bothered to knock door !!!

This happens every time I have a parcel! There are 4 doorbells clearly marked but the postman never rings it. Yesterday and today I heard the letter box flap make a noise, and I ran out to see the red card. Opened the door and he was yards from the house so chased him.

It really !!!!ed me off yesterdat because I'd paid for special delivery and he didn't even knock! And my sorting office is rubbish. Can only go back 48hrs later and it has to be between 9 and 12. Ridiculous!

this is because the staff dont return to the office after delivery
it allows RM to have longer deliveries
9-12 all week?

Happened to me again on Saturday. Red card through door when I was in.

Didnt hear it being pushed through this time so couldnt chase him down the street but phoned the depot about an hour after the card said it had been delivered and they said my parcel was there to be collected.

Looks like postie wanted to finish early on saturday !

11am!? I can't remember the last time we got a delivery BEFORE 11am! When I lived in Watford, the post usually didn't show up until 2pm. In Manchester it's usually here by 12pm.

On the plus side, having read the thread, I've never had problems with postmen/women being lazy. DHL, yes. RM? No. So I guess I count myself lucky after reading some people's stories!
